Hehe, don't delete this report, its really me. I wanna tell you all about a momentous moment in my Starcraft career. I have finally become good enough to get accused of hacking by a "legitimate" player.
This great player is a KBK veteran who prides himself on beating down Nohunters newbies like myself. His name is +:Goldfinger:+
Game 1:
Dire straits, I am zerg bottom left, he is toss, bottom right. I go for 6 quick mutas on a 2 hatch build. I forgot to build an overlord so I could only build 3 mutas when my spire finished. Since I had extra gas, I researched transport for expansion purposes.
When I finally have 6 mutas, I send them out to search for my protoss friend. As I fly to my right, I happen to run into a shuttle that is flying towards my base. The shuttle contains a templar and 2 zealots, They quickly drop out when I fire on the shuttle, however, the templar never storms and I am able to kill it without any trouble.
I head to his base but its too late now, he already had 4 or 5 cannons with 2 at his mineral line.
I have a third hatch now and seeing that he has gone templar tech, I quickly hatch 4 control groups of zerglings, overlord speed, and ling speed. I load those bad boys up and drop him razing his base pretty badly, but he is able to pop out a couple of dts and ends the threat.
No problem though, I have another 3 control groups of lings back at home so I load them up, send them back to his base, and proceed to rape him.
He demands a rematch with his map choice.
Game 2:
Lost Temple, I random to terran at 12, he randoms to toss at 6. Ouch right? I was fully expecting to lose this match.
I wall in, tech to wraiths with 3 marines and one tank at my choke and 1 tank/turret bunkerless defense at my main.
I float a CC to the island.
I check 3 oclock first with my wraiths and don't find him so I send my wraiths across the map and fly into 6 from the back side. He has his mineral line covered by cannons but his templar archives is outside cannon range. He has no observers yet so his 6 goons aren't able to kill me. One storm finally kills 4 of my wraiths but I still am able to kill his archives.
As I fly back to my main with my 2 remaining wraiths, I fly over about 6 cannons at 9 oclock killing both wraiths.
By now I have comsat so I scan his natural. DOH, a second expansion equipped with 4 cannons and 2 gateways.
I turbo newbie it with 2 tanks and 6 wraiths for cover. He doesn't run his peons away and I blast them all, then I kill the nexus.
Suddenly I look at my screen. I have 3000 mins and 1000 gas!!! doh...
I quickly build 3 more factories and bringing my total to 4. I also build a third starport and 2 more CCs. I float one to my natural and one to my mineral only. I start pumping tanks.
I had about 12 tanks when he tries to run a couple of control groups of goons up my ramp. They got completely wasted, I lost one tank.
By that time, I had 4 dropships so I take 12 wraiths and 8 tanks and fly them around to try and take out the 9 oclock expansion. As I fly over the 9 oclock natural, I see a freshly warped nexus and pylon.
I land the tanks and take it out. A cannon from the 9oclock mineraly fires at one of my tanks, he has expanded there too!!
I decide to go for the 9oclock main first. I land my tanks on the plateau and quickly spread them out. I scan and see no templar, what i do see is 4 starports and a fleet beacon with the lights blinking. My tanks level everything except for a robotics bay, a cannon and a pylon. Then 4 dts ruin my fun because I'm out of comsat. (only 2 comsats due to gay 12 oclock).
Back at home, I now have 12 tanks and 12 gollies so I move them to the middle of the map and take take out the 9 oclock mineral only. As I prepared to unsiege my tanks, a little blur flew overhead. My comsat had recharged, so without even thinking about it, I hit the hotkey and fired up the scan, blowing away the observer.
That is when the spam began. This screenshot was his first remark to me... He was very mean... :(
He asked for a screenshot and when I told him sure and asked him for his e-mail he said, "Like you can't turn it off Gay ass." Hopefully, this screenshot proves that this isn't possible since my minimap is cool and he has just made his first statement about me hacking.
Anyway, to make a long story short (hehe) I ended up winning and got spammed in the game and the channel for thirty minutes about what a gay hacker I was... :(
Some of you asked me what happened and this is what happened.
That was 2 of the best games I've ever played and it was kind of disheartening to get accused of hacking. Especially since I've been part of the NoHunters community for so long.
Anyway, I'm kind of pissed off at Goldfinger right now, so I'm going to add 1 more way to get bonus points for my contest this week.
