Many people believe that the Zerg don't stand a chance
against Terran. This was a hot conversation when I was at i2e2 in Cleveland (I hope they
do another tour it's great fun!). One of the other players there, told me about doing about a
little stunt, "Nobody expects a slow overlord to drop anything". This was the
quote that ran tough my mind when I started this game.
Betsy would be proud!
I set up a random 1v1 game like I do everyday, General_D
stumbles in. He picks Terran, which generally means he's either really good or really bad.
With GG's said we start the game. I random and pull Zerg (at 12 o'clock), humm... I'm
betting General_D is the latter, a "made with real cheese" slogan passes though
my thoughts.
I send my first overlord to the 3 o'clock position. I morph
9 drones, when they are done, I start gas and make a overlord then replace the drone.
My overlord gets to the 3 o'clock position, damn not there.
I my second overlord pops out and I send to the 9 o'clock start. (I probably
should have send out a drone here, but I my thoughts are clouded in dreams of swiss and
cheddar, so I'm not thinking straight.)
I make 3 more drones, start my pool, and put 3 drones on
gas.
I make more drones, until my pool is half way done, then I
stop to save up larva for a few zerglings, to put on my ramp to stop and SCVs from scouting
me.
I make a sunken in my main, just in case he's seen this
before and decides to rush early knowing I have nothing.
As soon as the pool completes I start a lair then a hydricks den. After they complete I start the Lurker and Sacs upgrades.

As you can tell from this image, he's not at 9 O'clock
position and it's a good thing. I probably would have lost this overlord due to the poor
path I chose for it. Well, Only one place left! I move the overlord down to the valley
between the start positions. (In hind sight I probably should have moved the 3 o'clock
overlord to that position also.) I don't move the overlord into his base, since I know
he's there and I would rather he didn't see my overlord patently waiting for the cheese
truck to arrive.
I make three Hydra's then 1 (making to many drones), and
spend them to the "Valley" Il morph them in Lurkers as soon and the upgrade
completes.
I chase away a
SCV before it gets in my base. Hopefully he still has no idea what I'm up to. The
upgrade completes, and I morph the hydra's into lurkers. The sacs upgrade is about 90%
complete.
I make a critical mistake! I fall behind on supply. This
could cost me the cheese and send me back to the farm.
I Que. up 2 Overlords. I can only morph 1 lurker until I get more overlords!
The two new Overlord's are about 50% complete. I have cystal stacking
up many like crazy so I expand to my natural. If this doesn't work maybe I can pull this
thing around. And to do it I'll need that expantion. (always have cheese B)
The sacks upgrade completes, I load the 1 lurker into the overlord. Boom! The
two overlords hatch, and I load up the second lurker. The overlord creeps a inch and lets
loose the Cheese! I bury the lurkers immediately, and load the other two lurkers into the
same overlord. I not sure if he saw me or he builds anti-air out of habit, but I rip apart
a SCV starting a turret (seen below). I hope he doesn't have tanks yet! Falling behind on
supply is deadly when you have cheese on your mind. I quick drop the other 2 lurkers and
bury. No tanks blast no scan's!
Yahoo! Time to move in! Even if he has a horde of M&M's
he'll have a hard time fending off 4 Lurkers.

As you can tell from the image he was doing two Barracks,
M&M, Tech to tank build. But I hit before he had tanks, there wasn't much he could to
stop me. (although he spent way too much on defense. Quicker tanks would have been worth
allot more to him than those two bunkers.)
Would you like Cheese with your wine?
Before I warp this up let's take a second to review the
build order. This may not be the fastest way to cut the cheese, but is (more or less) what I did in this
game. Feel free to process it to your own liking!

I made many little mistakes in this game that caused the
drop to come much latter than it should have, I came close to not being able to pull it
off at all. Don't make the mistakes I did.
This is easy to stop. However, it has been a trend for terran to wall-in
vs. Zerg, it makes it somewhat more likely to pull this off. But I wouldn't try it in a
ladder game.
Good Luck, fellow cheese heads!
