I couldnt find anyone in NH that wanted a one on one, so I joined a public game, and was lucky enough to find a one on one that was not BGH.
The map: Lost Temple
Stupendous_Man: Terran (Chosen) start at 9:00 position
Ahmed(or something like that): Protoss(chosen) 3:00
I started pretty standard. Depot on 8, scouting with 9. My scout found just a single gateway building, so I figure, he is going to tech, either to dtemps, or maybe a reaver drop. So I build a barracks on 10, and refinery on 11.
I decide to try an offensive bunker, so I send my first 4 marines over and build a bunker right inside his ramp. But a couple zealots find it and destroy the scv and the marines, and then take out the partially built bunker.
While this is going on, I build 2 factories. I have my choke guarded by a bunker and a rax. I get a machine shop and research mines while building vultures. When I get 3 vultures, I go and mine the bottom of his ramp, and the choke leading to my natural expansion.
At this point he attacks me with about 5 or 6 zealots, but the mines at his ramp and at the choke take most of them out and the bunker finishes them.
I build another rax to up production. So now I decide to expand to my natural. I have started producing tanks and have 2 or 3. I guard my expansion with a tank and another bunker. Now that I have a more steady income, I build an academy(for medics), and a starport. I decide to attack with a small tank push, and send 12 marines, 4 medics, and 3 tanks to his base. He has expanded to his natural, so I set up tanks to start bombing at his nexus, when I get attacked by dtemps. I use comsat to kill three, but then he just sends 3 more. My entire force dies, but not before taking out the nexus and a few probes.
While this is happening, I build a sci facility, and start an engineering bay for marine upgrades. I am also able to start another expansion in the top left corner, which remains undefended and unmolested the whole game.
So now I build another starport and use it to start pumping wraiths. Now I have a handful of medimarines, some tanks, 12 wraiths and 3 sci vessels. I send my wraiths to look for expansions, and am able to find his in the bottom right undefended and destroy it. Then I send my wraiths to his natural and take out all his probes before an observer and some scouts show up.
I add a covert ops to my sci facility, and research cloak, then lockdown, then sight. I start making ghosts.
I comsat his base and see a large force of scouts, dragoons, and 2 arbiters. So I continue to build ghosts and start building goliaths from both factories, with the range upgrade. I also expand to the 6:00 starting position.
Then the attack hit at my natural. At least 12 scouts, 12 dragoons, 12 zealots, and a couple of arbiters, and at least one observer. My sci vessel gets destroyed, so I concentrate my goliaths fire (I had about 10 of them) on the arbiter, while bringing over another sci vessel. I start emp-ing everything, locking down all his scouts and repairing bunkers and tanks. I survive the battle having lost 3 goliaths, all my wraiths, 2 sci vessels, 2 supply depots, a handful of marines, and two bunkers.
At this point I send my 8 goliaths, 5 tanks, 3 sci vessels, and 12 marines with medics. I start pounding on his natural again. This time I destroy it. All he sent ot defend it was 3 dtemps and 5 scouts, destroyed by marines and goliaths. Then I moved to his main, which had no defense at all and destroyed it.
During the destruction of his main, I looked around teh map and found another expansion, at the 12:00 starting position. I dropped 3 ghosts there and then dropped three nukes. We exchanged good games, and then the game was over.
Hope this report didnt suck to badly.
