WW4 FFA Round One Continued

The br continues . . .><br />

But suddenly the dreaded swishing sounds of dark templar are heard, and <font color=teal> Korang </font> realizes he is without detection! Desperately, he brings in an overlord, which doesn't arrive before nearly half of his forces have been assasinated! However, the sheer number of Zerg units assures that the expansion is slaughtered and the templar butchered. But now another sound is heard - the plasma cannon of a Dragoon! <font color=yellow> Praetor </font> has amassed nearly his entire force of Goons and the last surviving Dark Templar, and now overwhelms the Zerg with the sheer power of his upgraded units ( which are now 2/2/3 ). But the cerebrate won't simply let that stand, and finally orders in his <i> entire </i> force, which smashes into the Protoss minions and terminates their noble lives with very heavy casualties. So it is that only a group of assorted 'lings and hydras survive to tell the tale - but the Toss expo is finally no more.<br />

Finale . . . .

The end has finally come for the Protoss. Only two bases remain, and the once sprawling Toss tech tree has utterly collapsed. Now the sole things Praetor can build are dragoons, probes and zealots. Confessing that he is dead, the honourable Protoss Executor looks death straight in the face. His eyes narrow. He scowls furiously. He shall not surrendor without a fight!!

Desperate, knowing he can never win but resolving that the best death is a glorious one, Praetor summons forth every last surviving dragoon and templar, ordering them wildly into the Vast, certainly heavily defended Zerg main base in a last, frantic assault!

This is what he finds:

Eyes wide with disbelief, the noble Executor strolls into the empty casm. Yet suddenly, the explosive spines of the last living Zerg lurkers tear through the cold metal platform, straight for his hapless dragoons! An ambush!

The End is Nigh . . .

At first I wasn't sure who would win, but to my amazement the Protoss suddenly took the decisive upper hand when they surrounded the lurkers and crushed them with concentrated plasma fire. The sunkens fared no better, and soon, to my tremendous surprise, the entire Zerg main was sacked, blood flying in all directions! The last remaining vestige of resistance, the heavily defended Zergish expansion that Kalong has owned nearly from the very start of the game, is the next to go, with every last sunken and spore exploding in a blaze of crimson glory, one by one. The cerebrate never leaves however, and only gives up after his last hatchery has been reduced to a mere hulk on the silvery steal. Overrated quickly surrenders, opting to live to fight another day rather than attack the Protoss survivors with the concentrated firepower of his damaged wraith and Engineering Bay.

And so, Round One of the WW4 FFA series ends, with a glorious win for Praetor! Guess who'll be the target in the next installment?

Note: First of all, I preposted this tiwce ( lol ). I'm very sorry to all of you who read part of it before, but most of all I'm sorry for myself for having done that ;). Oh well.

Second, Bob_the_Newt has joined the ranks of the anti-|]agomarian faction ( congrats! ) which infests this place, whose sole other member is, I believe, Talon. Probe used to be a member but since we declared peace a while ago I think it's alright now :). I still don't understand why you guys hate me, but heck, so long as Fox^1 is my friend, it's all ok =D. Sorry for 'spamming' the forum Thursday, BTW.
