We found two challengers: Wizard something and JSH something (they both had equal signs and dashes in their names...).
We agreed on Dire Straits as the map.
I was feeling lucky so I let them pick my race. They said anything but Protoss. I said Ok and selected Terran.
Anyways, that's the pregame crap, onto the BATTLE! =p
Map: Dire Straits
Me: Terran
~CB~: Random Terran
Wizard: Zerg
JSH: Protoss (random I think...)
~CB~ and I curse at the beginning of the game do to our drawing double terran.
I float a CC to a nearby island and CB makes an Ebay to lift up and scout with. Then JSH drops out of the game. Damn.
Wiz says he will play on since it is UMS.
Well after I get my expansion running I throw up some barracks a few bunkers. ~CB~ decides to go for wraiths. I say I'll go for tank/gol drop with valk support.
However, my master plan is thwarted as Wizard drops 12 hydras on me. I didn't have any tanks yet. Damn. I killed all but 3 with my marines, having my scv's repair my bunker.
I call for help and ~CB~ runs over to save my ass. =p
I am saved. Then ~CB~ goes OL hunting as I begin to produce gols tanks and drop ships. ~CB~ takes an expansion down by killing all the OL's at the expansion and then cloaking.
Then I drop 7 tanks and 6 goliaths on wizards main. I take out his pool, extractor, some drones, and get a few shots off at his hive before he vanquishes my force with mutas.
~CB~ now begins the production of Sci Vessels with irradiate as I begin to pump valks and gols and tanks again.
~CB~ creates a distraction wizards expansion so I can drop with relative ease.
I do exactly this except this time I only have 6 tanks, but much more goliaths: 12. Plus I have ~CB~'s wraith support and my valk support. Wizard's main goes down and he concedes the game.
We told him he played very well (which he did considering it was 2v1) and then we allied up.
GG all around.
