Ok, here's a BR on a modem game between :
Executor Xan(Me) and TWL (a buddy of mine, whom I used to trash until he got sick of playing with me), anyway, here's a tale of my first defeat...His first one with 2 min Zergling rush doesn't count!
Starcraft-No Brood War
Map: The Small Divide
Locations:
Me, Protoss on the Northwest
TWL, Terran on the Southwest

Before we start here's a brief summary on our style of play:
Executor Xan (Me)
Welll, I luv Protoss I lot and I'm a little better than a newbie. I know how to use the units properly and a big fan of Reaver Drops and Templars. I put my faith on Scouts for air superiority over Carriers. My personal strategy preference is following Zileas's style, doom drops etc but I got lost in the middle of the game easily, sometimes letting my minerals stockpile while I wander aimlessly. My strategies are mostly stolen from the net.

TWL
He's a big turtle after two consecutive defeats with me in 2 days. Don't be surprised that his fav race is the Terrans. Sometimes he's just plain paranoid at defending that he completely forgot attacking. He will never attack unless victory is assured. This allows me to dictate the flow of the game. But still, I lost to the turtle.

Okay, now on with the game:

The Build Up
I built probe until there are 8 of them and build a pylon. Then I build 2 more probes and warp an Assimilator followed by 3 more probes for gas mining. Once the initial resources gathering is complete, I went for a Gateway, Robotics, Shuttle, Support Bay (notice I'm following Zileas's tactics closely here..), Reavers. Then I shuttle my Probe to a second natural expansion just below my initial base a little to the Southwest to build a Nexus. Soon I got 2 expansions bustling with activity. Feeling rich, I threw in an Observatory, Stargate, Forge, Citadel, and Templar Archive with no defense up! I expected TWL to play turtle again with me and I was right...

The First Harass-drop sighted a Giant Turle in the horizon

I decided to sortie TWL's expansion using my upgraded shuttle filled with a pair of Reavers. After crossing the Small Divide I was surprised to find no traces of his expansion. Look- I know turtling means all out defense this is ridiculous, he could just build a Command Centre and airlift it a little NE towards the second mineral patch, am I right fellas? So I decided to go for the main instead, boy, that was stupid of me... as soon my shuttle get to see a little of what's on the other site it was greeted with a rain of bullets from three bunkers. Aieee! That wasn't all! The firing revealed at least 3 sieged tanks side by side close to the bunkered marines forming a line on the edge of the cliff! I promptly retreated to the middle of the map to rethink strategy while at home I pumped out 4 templars and a Fleet Beacon for carriers. Observers are immediately deployed to scout for any weak links on the Terran defense line. Soon, news came:

Observer Times: Great Wall of China discovered!
Scientists of Aiur Flabbergasted !

Guys, I'm up against a REAL MASTER TURTLE here. Guess what he builds? Stretching for North till South: Bunker,Tank, BUnker, Tank, Bunker Tank, Bunker Tank and the list goes on and on....covering all possible approach to his base! While my observer was admiring the line of defense, I didn't notice a big ballish thing appeared from fog...A science vessel. Immediately the bunker opened fire and down goes my portable camera. Damn.

I have to think up of something....SOmething BIG enough to punch a hole in the line and let my armada pour through like a quick fart to wreak havoc in his base. Meanwhile the turle kept saying:
"come and get me!", "scared huh?", "nyah nyah nyah" and all that crappy taunt which I replied with vulgarities and a six carrier fleet knocking on their southern door ,each with 4 interceptors. Bang bang bang the inters went and down they under the concentrated bunker fire, stripping my carrier of any attacking strength...Needless to say, I bugged out.

Back home, I built an Arbiter Tribunal and promptly warped two Arbiters in. Templars were summoned until my gases ran low. And that's when I noticed that I have no more minerals to mine. Awww shite. Desperate, I sent the lone observer into TWL's second mineral patch...and was shocked to find a CC built and several SCVs working happily on the mines. I cannot let this go on! I brought my only shuttle with 2 templars inside. Once near the base, I dropped the load a Psi Stormed his SCVs, needless to say, they burned. Finally, something that hurts the turtle. Satisfied, I load my Templars back up when suddenly a lockdown missle hit my shuttle. It went down as the marines painted it with bulletholes.

Enraged, I sent an observer in followed with six carriers to destroy his expansion! The ghost died but not without locking down one carrier! The marines started to fire at the Carriers and my fleet was winning when suddenly an Emp shockwave hits squarely on my fleet, stripping their shields. The hull started to turn yellow and to avoid further damage, I recalled the broken fleet back.

I was losing and I knew it. Not knowing what to do, I go heavy on Templars. One by one came out until there's no more mineral left. I could've pulverised TWL with storms if he attacked me, but as I said, he was a BIG MASTER TURTLE.
THe interceptors losses were costing me big $$$ and I couldn't replace them all.

The Final Charge
I gathered up my templars in my base with Carriers flying overhead. THe two arbiters went to the southwestern tip of TWL's island. He didn't spot me yet. Then, I recalled my Templars and carriers. I hallucinated Arbiters using two templars, and once their energy is used up, I merged them into an archon. I knew what's up ahead: A row of Bunkers and Tanks. My observer counted 5 bunkers and 4 sieged tanks.
No regrets. Here goes:
Using the 12 templars to hallucinate the Archon once, I have in my armada 24 imaginary Archons. I know this is not going to work, but I'm gonna try it anyway. The Arbiters moved a little forward with Archons below them, cloaked.
Few seconds later a sparkling blue light appeared above us! ComSat! We've been discovered. No time to think! ATTACK! 24 Archons & 1 Real Archon zapped at the bunkers while 12 templars psi the siege tanks.Interceptors shot at the bunkers, only to be taken down by heavy blanket of marine U-238 shells. Arclite Shells began to rain down on our troops, along with bullets from bunkers. All was silenced with one Emp Shockwave. The templars died, killed by Arclite shells while the Archon was stripped of shield can only withstand 1 or 2 barrage of marine fire. The Arbiter was lockdowned by two ghosts. Needless to say...I was screwed. The Carriers lost all their interceptors and withdraw. I surrendered. Where did I go wrong?
