Abusive-X and Aries-X were looking for a 2v2 and i was looking for a game to BR, so I pressed the "Join" button, then typed ax4, pressed Tab, typed ax4, and pressed enter. =). Unfortunately, they couldn't find 2 guys to play against, so they decided to do a 1v1, on everyone's favorite map, The Lost Temple! First game was pretty quick, with Abusive-X as a Terran, he researched Stimpack and got M&Ms fast, so Aries-X couldn't stand a chance against the Army of Medics that Abusive-X had, game over fast. This is a report of the rematch, Game 2!

As soon as Abusive-X gets his first 5 Zealots, he sends 3 of them to his Natural, and sends 2 to block his choke point. A few moments after Abusive-X sent his Zealots, Aries-X has already a Bunker full of marines and 7 out-of-bunker Marines. Those 3 Barracks are efficient >=).

At this time, Abusive-X already warped a Cybernetic Core and a Citadel of Adun, and is warping a Templar's Archive. Aries-X, on his side, has an Academy and is building an Engineering Bay & a Factory.

Once Aries-X had enough Medics, he sent all his M&Ms to Abusive-X's main, but..
Abusive-X did the same with his Zealots, sending all of them to Aries-X's main.

After both armies got decimated, Aries-X started building Vultures and added a ComSat to his CC,
while Abusive-X started warping Dark Templars, and expanded at his natural.

Abusive-X attacked with 2 Dark Templars and 2 Zealots, but since Aries-X just built a ComSat the DTs got killed easily. After that attack Aries-X sends the vultures in and start mining the entrance. Also, Abusive-X's Nexus at his natural just finished, so he Maynard-ed his probes to his expansion, and warped a Robotic Facility at his natural. Moments later he had a shuttle ready, loaded with 2 DTs. He sent them to Aries-X's main but 1 of them got killed by ComSat + Marines. The other one managed to kill a few SCVs before it got lured into a Missile Tower. Abusive-X warped 2 more Gateways to his main, followed by a Forge and a Robotic Support Bay. Aries-X built a 2nd factory.

Since the game is pretty calm by now, Abusive-X expanded to 9' without any problems.
At this time, Abusive-X has bases at 12', 12' natural, and 9', while Aries-X has only the 3' main.

Loading 2 reavers in a shuttle, Abusive-X tries to put an end to the SCV's lives. Unforunately, they get killed quickly before doing any real damage.

After his failure, Abusive-X sends a part of his army to attack Aries-X. Finally some action!

And after that, Aries-X sends his medarines back to his base, then expands to 3' natural, and sends his vultures to attack the 12' natural. With a very well placed mine, he killed 8 probes =). At this time Abusive-X's 9' expansion was finished so he Maynard-ed a bunch of his probes there, protected by a bunch of cannons.

Using the troops he put in the middle, Abusive-X starts a massive attack to venge the death of the mighty Probes. Unforunately for him, the Medarines + Tanks are too much for the Zealots, but a High Templar managed to kill most of the Marines with a well placed PSI Storm. Abusive-X now starts production of Dragoons, while Aries-X gets more tanks. Abusive-X gets a probe in a shuttle and drops it on the cliff of 3' natural. The probe merrily builds a few pylons and cannons, which scares the SCVs away but the SCVs went straight into Abusive-X's army, they got pimped in seconds...

Abusive-X expands to 6', then keeps sending troops to Aries-X's base, but because of all the tanks at Aries-X's choke, they can't even get 3 matrixes from his choke!

Since he apparently can't attack from ground, Abusive-X starts getting more shuttles, and drops from Aries-X's side, and keeps dropping more units, until Aries-X's main starts falling apart. It's the end!

Lessons Learned:
- This BR wasn't really better than my other one
- It's always good to put up Photons on a cliff
- High Templars > Infantry
- Mass Sieges at Choke + Meradines > Zealots and Goons
