And so it begins
Hello and welcome to my (PsIoNiC~PiGeOn) first Battle Report ever! This means that in the forum, post all the positive and negative things about this BR, the things I need to add, things I need to take out, and so on and so forth. As a note, I didn't write CC instead of Command Center, Rax in stead of Barracks, or Rine instead of Marine (etc, etc, etc) so the more newbieish (is that how you say it?) will understand my BR (By the way, BR stands for Battle Report! What a concept! And yes, I don't know HTML so I used Microsoft Publisher 2000! THE HORROR! ...its faster anywayz...)

Pregame Action
I was hanging out in channel: Clan -x17 looking for a game, (There are actually some decent players in there) when about 5 people whispered me and we all met in a channel (Exciting, eh? Sounds sort of like the beginning of a porno movie…) The first two people to come in were Dookla and |Cannibal|. I told them to join a game with a password and we were set. And here you are: a 1v1 matchup on Dark Temple (no complaints about it being on a Temple map, I like the little "Observer" slots…)

The Starting Lineup
Dookla picks Terran and ends up as Blue Terran at 12:00 (But I wanted PURPLE Terran :P) and |Cannibal| randoms to Teal Terran at 6:00.

The Building Orders
The first few buildings of Dookla go like this (yes, they are in order): Supply Depot, Barracks, Barracks, Supply Depot, Refinery. |Cannibal|'s first buildings are like this (in order again): Supply Depot, Barracks, Barracks, Supply Depot, Refinery (Freaky ain't it? They had the same build orders…) Blue sends out some scouts and immediately finds |Cannibal| at 6:00. Now he knows he had randomed to Terran. About 1 minute later in the game, Dookla has 2 Supply Depots (not blocking off the choke point, but near it) and 4 Marines guarding his choke point while |Cannibal| has 7 Marines guarding his choke point. At this time, Dookla and Cannibal| started building a Factory at the EXACT same time (the numbers were exactly the same). Then, Dookla built an Academy and another Factory while they both (Dookla and |Cannibal|) have Machine Shops being built onto their finished Factories.

The First Attack
After |Cannibal| was done with his second Factory and had added a Machine Shop to it, he brought 10 Marines and an SCV really close to Dookla's choke point. The SCV built a bunker and Dookla finds out about |Cannibal|'s activities. |Cannibal| loads 4 Marines into his Bunker but Dookla has a way around it: he brought a single tank, 9 Marines, and 2 Medics to destroy the Bunker and the 6 remaining Marines. The Tank took out the Bunker and then |Cannibal| brought in his remaining Marines to try to kill off Dookla's forces… |Cannibal| was extremely outnumbered.

Army Update
After the first attack, Dookla had 2 Tanks, 9 Marines, and 2 Medics (He didn't lose one unit in the defense of his base,) and |Cannibal| had 2 Tanks, 3 Marines, and 3 Medics.

Then, Dookla expands to his natural while |Cannibal| prepares to expand by setting up a defense which will protect his natural and his main from ground assaults. Dookla then constructs a Command Center and floats it to the top left expansion, while |Cannibal| finally expands to his natural. Here's an expansion update: Dookla had, at that time, 2 expansions, while |Cannibal| had only 1 expansion.

A Second Attempt…
At this point in the game, |Cannibal| scouts for any enemy expansions by sending 3 Marines in different directions. Then, a second attack forms: |Cannibal| brings a 2 Dropships with 1 Tank, 5 Marines, and 1 Medic to elevated land in the very top right corner. He then sends another Dropship but unfortunately it got blown up by some Gemini Missiles from 3 Wraiths (Did anyone else know the name of the Wraith's air-to-air attack off the top of their head other than me? Now I feel much better about myself…) Then |Cannibal|, for some reason unknown to me, doesn't do anything with his men, in fact, he never moves his men in the top right corner the rest of the game… I have no clue why. At this part in the game, there was an extremely long LULL OF ACTION (::long moan::). Then, Dookla forms an attack force and moves to |Cannibal|'s base. Dookla brings the attack force shown below to elevated land just to the right of |Cannibal|'s natural expansion. Naturally (get it?), he takes out all the SCVs (unless they ran away and I didn't see it), the Refinery, and the Command Center.

Teal Fights Back
Right after |Cannibal| realized he couldn't defend his natural without having MANY casualties, he attacked with the force shown below. He managed to kill 2 Tanks and 4 Marines… (VERY nice micro-management on Dookla's part on the defense).

Just when |Cannibal| lost all his men, he finished a Command Center and floated it to the 9:00 base. Dookla still had his "offensive outpost" on the elevated ground and didn't show any signs of movement there. Dookla, I then found out, had expanded to a small mineral-only expansion just outside his base, and has finished an expansion at the 3:00 base.

Expansion Update
Currently, Dookla owned 4 operating expansions to his base and |Cannibal| had one and a 1/4 (the 1/4 is the natural expansion that Dookla basically destroyed). Then |Cannibal| makes a very surprising move: he attacks the 3:00 expansion of Dookla. Dookla retaliates with a handful of wraiths and two tanks. In the end, |Cannibal| dealt sufficient damage to Dookla, but his expansion at 3:00 was still alive and kickin'.

Although |Cannibal|'s attack was semi-successful in destroying Dookla's 3:00 expansion, Dookla had already assembled a force of 7 Dropships and a couple Wraiths. Dookla went straight into |Cannibal|'s main base and dropped a bunch of Tanks and Marines. |Cannibal| managed to take out all the Marines but couldn't seem to destroy the remaining 6 Tanks in Siege Mode with Wraiths about to join them.

And the follow-up of Wraiths…

Then, Dookla makes a pretty smart move: he moves all his Wraiths to |Cannibal|'s 9:00 base. I promised to |Cannibal| that I wouldn't insult him (and I wont) but he had absolutely NO CHANCE in saving his 9:00 expansion. I have a screenshot of the Wraiths tormenting all the SCVs, the Command Center, and the "Exploding Supply Depot," buuuuuut I'm to lazy to get that picture on here hence no picture of |Cannibal| getting his 9:00 expansion HELPLESSLY destroyed.

The Fall of… A Brood War Player
Then, |Cannibal| expanded to the 9:00 bases' natural expansion. Then, |Cannibal| finally gives in and says:

Then, out of the nowhere, the Computer decides to turn on me!

Noooooooooooooo! Oh well, next comes the Lessons Learned… If there are any… EVERYONE! GIVE ME IDEAS WHAT I SHOULD CHANGE, WHAT I SHOULD ADD, TAKE AWAY, ETC. PLEASE!

Lessons Learned
-Tanks + Wraiths > Marines + Medics. (|Cannibal| lost his Main by using that matchup)
-Always take a screen shot of the scores at the end cause its really important and take a screen shot of the minimap at the end of the game (I did! I did! Its down below!)
-If you ever happen to run into a homosexual transvestite midget wearing neon pink lipstick and a bikini, tell him… err her that his… her nephew said hi… J/K… Or am I?
