PRE-GAME SHOW
Welcome all to another frenchy production battle report. My name is King-Lewis or Aristocrat-X for the people of KALI.
This battle report is the result of the mark4 post on http://www.battlereports.com.
In this post Mark4 is looking for battlereporter to cover the WGL team playoffs. I was designated to report the game
between clan X17 and FireSwarm(2) when i log on on the WGL private server. Unfortunatly both didnt show up at the scheduled
time. The game between GNG and Saint was about to be started so i decided to report their series instead. For those who
dont know, the 1st playoff is played with best of 3 games. Our current series will oppose the teams ranked 14 vs 19.
But before we get this all started we need our famous Quotes of the MONTH !
For those who havent read my last battle reports on br.com, QOTM is a little funny section that i've been including in my
BRs for your own entertainement. People you'll hear are mostly my friends from battle.net but you'll see they still can
be mad funny. So here we go !

taking screen shot of every words ! Ok let's get back to serious business and let the playoffs begin !
MAIN EVENT
Game 1
MAP: Char Magma
PLAYERS:
Lion[Saint] (Zerg) start at Middle left.
Silent[Saint] (Protoss) start at Bottom left
[GNG]JaabOO (Protoss) start at Middle right
[GNG]Raptor (Protoss) start at Middle Bottom
OBSERVERS: King-Lewis.
The game begins in a veru standard way on the GNG side. Both players are going with a normal build of two gateway and will
and gas after like 5-6 zealots are warped. Things seems a little bit more different on the team Saint side.
Lion[Saint] is whoring with a third hatchery at expansion and fast extractor. He soon morph
a Hydralisk Den and going mass hydras from 3 hatchs. Silent[Saint] on his side is going for
plain zealots with no gas from 4 gateways.
Team GNG is the first team to make an offensive move. Both players are heading to Silent[Saint]
base with each 8 zealots. They also gonna use their rush to safely tech. [GNG]JaabOO is going
with a reavers build while [GNG]Raptor is going templars. Unfortunatly for them, when they
arrive to Silent[Saint] base, Silent[Saint] got almost the same
number of zealots than both of them. After a little zealots dance and a few probes kill they decide to try to kill the
ennemi Nexus ...
Payback time !
[GNG]Raptor main base is destroy but he is warping a nexus at top center. All players now started
an expansion but the army that just killed [GNG]Raptor plus the help of new fresh troops are
heading to [GNG]JaabOO main base. Will the reavers/goons going to hold the macro whores ...
After this [GNG]Raptor will keep trying to fight with dark templars but game is over already
and he concede short after.
Saint lead the serie 1-0.
Game 2
MAP: Polaris Prime
PLAYERS:
Lion[Saint] (Zerg) start at Bottom left.
Silent[Saint] (Protoss) start at Middle left
[GNG]JaabOO (Protoss) start at Middle right
[GNG]Raptor (Protoss) start at Top left
OBSERVERS: King-Lewis.
For those who don't know, as u can see on the mini-map, Polaris Prime start like an air map but all expansions are
connected. Once again, the players of GNG team are doin the exact same build. Both players are starting with a fast
robotics and templars tech. They also both expand as soon as their first shuttle is warp. They are now both going
Dragoons/Templars. On the Saint team, Silent[Saint] will also expand as soon as he got
a shuttle but he is doing a reaver build order instead of templars. Lion[Saint], who is
once again the only "non-protoss" player in the game will start the game with a mutalisk build order.
Lion[Saint] is sending is first mutalisks for a scouting mission while, Silent[Saint]
is loading 2 reavers in his shuttles and he is going to [GNG]Raptor peon line. The mighty reavers
will have time to kill around 12-15 probes and 2 canons before they got smackdown by the combination of a Templars and a
Dark Templar. After this first blood, all players decide to defend their positions and expand some more. Almost all
bases now are protected by 4-5 templars and good canons placement. Lion[Saint] switched from
mutalisks to hydralisks drops and expanded again at bottom right, Silent[Saint] add 4 gateways to
his bottom center expansion, [GNG]JaabOO also add 4 gateways to his expansion and [GNG]Raptor
expanded again at top right and kept building templars to protect his top center expansions. Ok this is getting confusing
lets see what it give on the Mini-Map.
Finally after this break in the action, players are all set for some offensive moves. The first move will be a cloacked
one. After some good scouting, [GNG]JaabOO will send 2 bitch ass dark templars to kill the
undefended Lion[Saint] expansion below Silent[Saint]'s main. The
first real attack come short after when Lion[Saint] load his overlords of hydralisks and is
going to [GNG]Raptor 12 o cloack expansion, where his ally his wating him with a sizeable
group of reavers/dragoons. Seeing this, [GNG]JaabOO decided to counter on Silent[Saint]
6 o'cloack expansion with a massive dragoons army.
The massive dragoon army that were heading to Silent[Saint] expansion was forced to retreat.
Due to a lack of detection, about 5 dark templars protected the expansions after some important probes/buildings loses. That
is only a matter of time before an observer come to give vision to the group of dragoons. Lion[Saint]
is helping his ally by sending large group of hydralisks. During about 5 minutes, Team GNG will keep attacking this expansion.
The Team Saint is holding the pressure made mostly by [GNG]JaabOO, until [GNG]Raptor
make the gosuest move of all time ...
At this point, [GNG]JaabOO had another expansion and Dark templars killed all expansions attemps
made by Silent[Saint]. The game was over even if Silent[Saint] still
had that bottom center expansion and his ressourceless main. Good game.
The serie is tied 1-1.
Game 3
MAP: The Hunters
PLAYERS:
Lion[Saint] (Protoss) start at Middle left.
Silent[Saint] (Protoss) start at Bottom right
[GNG]JaabOO (Protoss) start at Top right
[GNG]Raptor (Protoss) start at Top Center
OBSERVERS: King-Lewis.
Ok ladies and gentleman, this game is deciding who make the next round and who going to play golf. Team Saint have the
option to choose the map for that final game and they decided to play on the famous Hunters. All players decided to play
Protoss on this game. Its pretty tense on the battle field when we see both team annoucing their expectation about the game.
Yes, [GNG]JaabOO was absolutely right, its going to be a rush festival and all players are getting
ready for it. Almost all players are going with a 3 gateways build order except for Lion[Saint],
who is going for 2 gateways and a cybernectic core after 6-7 zealots. Silent[Saint] added a 4rth
gateway shorth after.
Zealots BLOOD BATH !
As soon as the team SAINT gattered a large group of zealots to the middle of the map, they go on offensive. After a little
scouting, they decide to go on [GNG]JaabOO so they can use the map better. Of course,
[GNG]Raptor's base is near and he is sendind his zealot army as soon as possible.
A probe scout told to team GNG that Lion[Saint] was getting ranged dragoons. With the fact
that [GNG]Raptor didnt lost many zealots to that last rush, Team GNG is immediatly goint
on a counter move to Lion[Saint] base. With only 4 zealots in defense and with incoming
dragoons from gateways, Lion[Saint] cannot hold the large ammount of zealot that is attacking
him and will need help. Now pumping zealots from 4 gateways Silent[Saint] will send his zealots
to help his ally.
As you can see Lion[Saint] will survive the last attack due to some nice dragoons dance, some
probes sacrifice and of course the help of Silent[Saint]. They will try to counter with about
24 zealots and the 6 dragoons of Lion[Saint] but we are now entering in the most uncivilized
part of the game. All players except for Lion[Saint] teched to Dark Templars. Team Saint has to
retreat their force to the safety of canons at their bases.
Mortal Kombats !
After each players manage to get detection to survive the mighty dark templars, the game will all of a sudden turn
into a major non-stop action Protoss war. I cant even describe all the battles that took place on the center of the map. All
players are now having an expansion except for Lion[Saint] who still have to manage the lost
of all his probes. So be ready for lots of burning zealots and dragoons soup because the civil war begin!!
KEKEKEKEKE ! That was some awesome action. Game is not over but team GNG is took a serious advantage during this action.
They are now in a better position due to two things.
As [GNG]Raptor said, they are far ahead in the upgrades and the other major fact is the
ressources. [GNG]JaabOO and [GNG]Raptor now both having 2
expansions, while on the Saint side, Lion[Saint] and Silent[Saint]
still have to deal with only one expansion each. Lets see it on the Mini-Map.
Final Conflict !
Both team now take their breath back fro last battles and are ready to engage a final conflict. Each team regrouped their
force and are ready to go. Team GNG is standing with an awesome Dragoons/Archons/Templars army while is defending with
a large groupe of Zealots/Dark Templars/Dragoons. This battle could have 2 effect. If team Saint is able to hold off, that
might give them time to get back in the ressources war since they both trying to start a new expansion. On another side,
if they dont hold the attack, team GNG will won the match and the serie. Lets see wut happen when all players engage the
combat.
Weeeeeeeee !! Realizing the awesome power of upgrades and the incredibly large amounts of troops by team GNG, Team Saint
conceded the game after an awesome come back try. Team GNG is going to next ROUND !
Team GNG won the serie 2-1.
