"Unfortunately, the evil Protoss military-industrial complex had so heavily polluted the SCV's normal migratory pathway with cannons that not one made it to the mating grounds."

The Map

Acropolis

For those of you who are not familiar with acropolis, it is a 6 player, 196x196 ladder map. There are 2 starting positions on each side, as well as 1 on the top and 1 on the bottom. There are many small expansions on the rescource rich plateu in the center of the map, as well as 4 larger expansions on islands in the corners. Each base is surrounded by a "wall" and has only 1 bridge leading to it. Overall a very good map, much better than The Lost Temple, if you ask me.

The game started with me drawing terran at the bottom position. Jin *not his actual name, but his actual name was a nonsense name beginning with Jin* drew protoss at the upper left starting position, while dakin drew zerg in the lower left start.

I started with a normal build, depo on 8, rax on 9 & 10, refinery on 11, then 3 more SCVs put on gas. During this time dakim scouted me with an overlord, which got away just as my first marine popped out of my rax.

I continued building up, I constructed an acadamy, and began a factory. I constructed depos as needed. Soon, one of dakim's zerglings ran into my base to test my defenses. Shorty after the scout died about a control group of zerglings flooded into my base. I only had 6 marines at the time, and my bunker had yet to finish. I begain to dance and use buildings for my advantage, and began to gain the upper hand when 4 zealots ran into my base. Shit, a double team, was my first thought. But soon the zerglings and the zealots began attacking eachother, and this enabled my marines to kill both attacking forces.

After this I loaded my now completed bunker with marines, and build 2 vultures at my factory, after which I added a machine shop. I began scanning for bases, and found dakim with my first scan. His only buildings were 2 hatcheries and a spawning pool. It looked like he was going hard lings.

After seeing this I began pumping firebats, and sent my 2 vultures to cause some trouble. Upon reaching his choke point they were spotted by a pesky overlord, and attacked by a large number or zerglings. Due to Starcrafts amazing pathing AI *yeah, right*, one of the vultures died, while the other led the zerglings on a chase around the map, hopefully to Jin's base.

Unfortunately he never made it... A tree got in his way and the zerglings promptly ripped him into several hundred little pieces.

While the chase was happening I constructed a CC and floated it to the bottom left island, where I began making SCVs. The expansion was on-line in no time, and my economy was doing AWSOME! I began to scan for Jin and found his base in ruins, with zerglings swarming through it and deystroying everything in site. I then quickly scanned dakin and found he had ignored his base during the attack, and that all of his forces were attacking. I immediately loaded up 4 vultures in a dropship, and sent them to drop him, while my 16 firebats and 12 or so marines, with stim, headed towards his base. They were spotted by an OL, and before I got to his base he had hatched about a dozen zerglings and constructed 6 sunken colonies. Damn.

I still had him trapped though, and as soon as the tanks at which were building in my factories completed, he was dead. I decided to soften him up with the vultures, and dropped them behind his minerals. Before he could react his drones had died, as well as his zerglings, which were unable to get around the minerals to attack the vultures.

Seeing that he could not move out of his base to expand, or build anything *my vultures killed everything that hatched*, or construct anything to face the vultures *he never did get gas* he conceded the game. YAY!

At this time about 8 zealots hit my base, which was defended by 2 unsieged tanks *I was going to send them to Dakin's base, but he left* and 8 marines. The tanks died quickly, not hurting his forces at all, but due to dancing, focasing fire, and using buildings to my advantage, I was able to kill half of the zealots. The rest promptly slaughered all of my marines, but were killed by a bunker being repaired by SCVs. His zealots had been unable to attack th SCVs due to my gosu building placement 8).

He now tells me that I will never find him... That makes it obvious he is one of those ass holes who builes pylons all over the map... DAMNIT. I begin to search, but find he was not very smart, and placed the pylon right outside of his old base. The 3 vultures which found his base killed his probe immediately, and began to work on the pylon. Soon the pylon was dead.

The game was over, and I was victorious! The final scores were as follows *I blocked out my name because I dont want people knowing my other names*:
