Lifetime Rating for PsYonic: 5.0000 |  | This game happend a long time ago but i still remember most of the details. This match up was on LT and i was Zerg spawning @ 7:00 and my terran opponent spawned @ 3:00 postion. The game started off with my overlord scouting his main base. Since he went late barracks's (since i went random) i took a risky choise and went for a 10/9 exp. This wasnt new to my terran opponent because he came with his first 6 marines and bunkered me off using his scouting scv to make bunkers.
I was really pissed off now. Since i still used my overlord for some scouting to see if he was teching, i found out that he indeed had gas up. So i did what any zerg would do. I made some sunkens to bloke my base. From my main i teched to lair ASAP. I was planning for hydra lisk's. when my lair popped out i evolved lurker ability. I put down another hacthery at my choke to further evolve more units. When my lurker ability finished, Simoltaniously. He Tanks are shooting down my Sunkens at my base. I pull all my attackers away from this and leave the drones to mine as much as possible. I didnt want to attack this ecounter because his Crap would have wasted all my units and i would be dead right there on the spot. I immedialty evolved lurkers and put up a spire along with , evolved transport.. later this helped alot. He kept pushing me thorught and i had all my stuff turtled in my base. He expanded around now and was still just pumping M&M aloing with tanks. When he attack i killed all of his stuff forcing him to retreat. When my transport finished i send a drone to the island exp nearest to me and i also eveolved overlrod speed. when he attacked again he had a ton of M&M i put up 10 sunkens in my base :P and that held him off.. the tanks were then history because of my mutaslisk. When my island exp was up. i was in full roll. I pumped MASS hydra lisks and prepared fora drop. When i droped i Worked him. He Rewally had nothing to defend with. I dont know why because i gave him about 10 minutes after his last time he attack and with a exp he should have built up forces. He tryed to stop me but with all my hydrta lisk's i totally worked him. GG |
