][~Illuvatar~][ in a match in the Lost Temple.
Grimling as randomed Terran at 9:00 while ][~Illuvatar~][ randomed Protoss at 3:00 and the match began!
Grimling starts off by getting 5 SCV's followed by 2 depots and a rax at his entrance While ][~Illuvatar~][ has gone gas and gateway followed by core. Grimling has erected 2 factories and a starport is nearly complete. 1 siege tank comes out while a his first dropship comes out and he loads it up and heads over to ][~Illuvatar~]['s nat. All this time ][~Illuvatar~][ has teched up to robotics support bay and has 2 shuttles and 8 goons sitting at his entrance with 2 cannons. The tank lands and sieges up and starts blasting at a cannon and zealot without much trouble. Another dropship arrives with 2 more tanks and they start blasting away at goons just itching to do some damage to those tanks
Soon enough ][~Illuvatar~][ loads up his shuttles with goons and drops them reight in between the tanks making them untargetable while the tanks are in siege mode. They begin to un-siege but are destroyed before they can do any serious damage to the goons.
Then Grimling finally decides to expand to his nat while ][~Illuvatar~][ already has 3 expansions.
Grimling trys for the 6:00 base but is stopped by an angry mob of 6 goons blasting the hell out of it.
Despite this lose Grimling gets 2 more factories and starts pumping out tanks and goliaths like crazy. ][~Illuvatar~][ starts to group his units in the center but is stopped by a nasty but effective tank/goliath attack.
As my observing partner said:
But that is only a minor setback for ][~Illuvatar~][ as he starts grouping again just in front of his min nat.
Grimling collects 6 or 7 tanks with golie and Sci Vessel support and starts to attack ][~Illuvatar~]['s min 12:00 min exp only to be stopped by 4 very well placed storms.
The tanks go down to storm while the goliaths fight some zealots and lose the battle. ][~Illuvatar~][ has 4 expansions to 1 and that spells toss ownage. ][~Illuvatar~][ masses all his zealots, goons, and templars and goes for Grimling's main. The zealots and goons meet heavy resistance from tanks and goliaths
but they manage to take out all the goliaths and then he storms the high ground tanks with templars.
By now Grimling has run out of minerals and concedes to the awesome power of ][~Illuvatar~][!!! GG guys
