Lifetime Rating for Evire!!: 6.0000 |  | A while ago b.net would only let me on the Dacom (all Korean) server, and I didn't feel much like playing ZvZ on temple... so I decided to play some single player. I wanted a pretty short game, but one that was still challenging, so instead of playing 1v4 comps or something of the sort, I just played a 1v1. However, I gave myself some restrictions. I selected myself as toss and the computer ass terran on Fading Realm, and set the rule that I was only allowed to make two units: probes and high templar (NO archons!).
Early Game:
Off I went! The early game proved to be pretty difficult, considering my only source of defense was probes and cannons, but once I got storm, things eased up in the mid game. Still, it's pretty annoying when you have to storm one marine and end up getting your templar and a few probes in the proccess.
Mid Game:
Taking over the board with probes and templar was pretty tricky, but once I got cannons up it got a lot easier to defend. Here are most of the things that were hard to deal with:
Tanks: Obviously, they knock down my cannons, but storm helped
Stim: Storm > MMF ... but they're hard to hit when they're stimmed running around a big pile of your own probes.
EMP: Ouch, bye bye templar!
Cloaking: Wraiths were a bitch to hit with storm.
Nukes: There was nothing I could do but try to storm the ghosts.
Bunkers with Firebats in them: This was by far the hardest to kill. Firebats > Probes ... so my only chance was to send HOARD AFTER HOARD of probes to destroy them.
Late Game:
After I took the middle and blocked it up with cannons, the late game was pretty easy from there. I had like around 2K minerals since it's hard to macro when you can only build units that cost 50. Luckily, the computer wasn't smart enough to just lift it's buildings and float to freedom!
