Introduction:

Hello folks! This is my second official battle report and I would like to say that I don't care about ratings. I just hope that you'll have fun reading this. (to whomever gave me a 5 on my last BR: You go to hell, you go to hell and you die. suck my balls.).

This report features a 1on1 with ~Lord'Jir.npg~ (whom we're going to call Jir) and Soren~ (whom we're going to call "Tha Slut")....(¤!"#&%#¤^¨*%/"!!§!!!!!)....Okey. I think we're just going to stick with Soren~.

The Game:

Soren~, as we all know, is a respected(*cough cough) and good(*cough cough) player. I had never heard of Jir before, so I expected Soren~ to win without any trouble. But to my surprise this got more even that I thought it would be.

Jir went the common 2 gate followed by Zealots build. While Soren~ went 9/9 pool then second hatchery. Jir's 3 first zealots ran down to Soren~'s ramp. Followed by two more.

When all 7 Zealots where gathered on his ramp he engaged. Soren~ had at the time 3 sunkens strategically placed and a few units. Jir's zealots attacked his Hydralisk Den, which he managed to destroy. Though loosing 2 zealots in the attack. He then retreated his zealots back home...

Soren~'s next move is to expand at his natural, while Jir goes for Templars first then slowly expands. Jir starts building up an army of Templars and zealots while Soren~ goes for Mutalisks. When his spire completes Jir only got 3 Templars for air defense. Soren~ quickly spawn 9+ Mutalisks and fly them to Jir's choke point. He manages to kill two of the Templars without getting any much damage from storm. He runs the Mutalisks up to Jir's peon line. He kills the two cannons there and starts ravaging on his peons. But then Dragoons pops out of Jir's gateways and the Mutalisks flee towards his zealots. But as Zealots is quite hard to kill of because of their speed (when upgraded) he quickly re-assign his flyers to attack his natural peon line. But an Archon and a Dragoon is not far away to support them, so he flees once again.

Jir's army of Templars, Zealots, Dragoons and a few Archons is now quite large and he now attacks Soren~'s second expansion ("second natural"). Soren~ has still only gotten his hatchery up there. But with aid of his many Hydralisks and Mutalisks Jir's retreats what's left of his force. This makes Soren~ go offensive. He scrambles up his army of Zerlings and Hydralisks and runs after Jir's fleeing force. A fierce combat takes place minutes after Jir's assault.

But with a combination of DT's and Storm Jir manages to fight off Soren~'s attack. Both players were now pretty defenseless. But Soren~ now quickly produced an additional army and threw them in 5 Overlords. Quickly the flew them to Jir's main and dropped his units. Now Jir also expanded at 3:00's natural and Soren~ started an expansion at 6:00. Soren~'s drop induced little or hardly any damage but after scouting Jir's new expansion he sent his whole new army towards it.

Jir notice this and send his force down to the middle where much of Soren~'s units are running through. Though his Mutalisks and a couple of lings is already killing his expansion. Their units clash in the middle, and ends with Soren~ pulling back his units. Soren~ manages to kill all of Jir's peons and cannons but a few zealots come to aid and saves the nexus. Jir now attacks Soren~ with an extreme might. Dragoons and storm lay waste to the many Hydralisks and Zerglings.

Soren~ now realizes his defeat and resigns with a "gg".

I'd like to thank Soren~ and Jir for playing a good game. It was quite fun to watch and it made me realize that I really blow.
