Lifetime Rating for [hA[Raziel: 3.0000 |  | Hey its me, that Raziel newbie as the reviews said. Back again with another battle report.
Now, this one is more flashy, than the first, it has pictures and the game isn't a really horrible won.
Now, onto the game. It was me, [hA]Raziel vs. [ua]. [ua] hosted the 1v1 Temple game (non-ladder) and i joined up immediately cause i felt like doing one of these here BR's.
He had protoss picked the whole time, and then switched it to zerg last second, like that matters figuring that i always random. I come out as Terran and start out at the bottom. Max Jr. who is back from his victory against the last Zerg went in his fathers footsteps and built the first supply depot. While he was doing that a saw a yellow overlord pop into my screen. Now, i know where he is, so when Max is finished and my rax has just started and was around 350 HP.
Max went on scouting and found zerg about 30 second laters and saw that a pool and a hatch were both very near done. He harassed some drones, and then was attacked. He won the attack, but the first set of lings that came out of the two hatches defeated Max Jr. It was a sad day in Terran world, and the marines went inside the bunker built hehind my two supply depots at the ramp. Three marines were in there anticipating some zerglings to come in.

Amazingly the marines were correct and a fleet of about 10 zerglings made their way into the base. The bunker tore them apart with little or no damage done to my buildlings. Around then i was just starting my gas and got that mining quickly. I got a second rax and an academy at the same time and then started on more supply depots, a factory, and a comsat.
Once supply depots were done i started on engineering bay fearing the lurkers that would come. And when i scanned, my fears became reality when i saw two early lairs from both is hatcheries meaning, that he was going to drop. I did not see Hydra den yet, but i feared that it would come. I built a wall of missile turrets between his base and mine to destroy and overlord which went the short way to get into my base.
I had just started a starport and had my normal drop of 2bats/2meds/4rines was ready. It was pretty quiet and i noticed that he had a guarded EXP. Another expander against my no expand terran. How great. But my last adventure learned that hyper expand doesn't beat terran if the terran can take out his buildlings first. My dropships came out and i started researching stim packs a lot late, but i still went through with the drop. It went undetected, but when the drop was out it was met by enough zerglings to cut down the attack pack into only 3 marines and 2 medics.

Back at my base i had started siege mode, and another factory and had two more dropships buildling. I had 4 more marines and started some more medics. I started two tanks. Then out of the eggs at his base popped some mutas. About 5 of them. And my marines fought hard, but only 1 marine and 1 medic was left. I quickly sent over the 2 tanks and 4 more marines in the drop.
I droppped my second drop and i sieged the tanks and the zergling resistance was dispatched by the stimmed marines. The last mutas made an effort, but were quickly killed. Just then those marines, started singing, when they were winning, WE GET KNOCKED DOWN, BUT WE GET UP AGAIN, YOU NEVER GONNA KEEP US DOWN. 4 marines sang that while 1 marine and one medic made out behind a mineral patch. Damn my marines, so sex crazed. He asked for ally, but i politely said no. He let me take out a ton of his base and then said "GG" and left. Time of Game: 11:15
Notes:
No lurkers even though i stayed after game and saw he had a hydra den and some lurker eggs being made. God, i am glad that he didn't stay. I would have had to actually work to win. |
