Ah imbalance, by far the biggest excuse that people give for losing. Well I was talking about the whole "race" issue with LustedSmurf while hes was under the nick"BraceYoSelf!". He was really pissed that people could constantly bitch about a game's balance instead of just playing it through.
Well he decided to show me how "real players" play and asked me to br a game for him.
So here it is.
Map: Lost Temple
FacelessMan: Protoss @ 6 Chosen
BraceYoSelf!: Terran @ 12 Chosen
Brace starts the game with a basic factory rush with a strong wall-in, while Face went double gate then gas followed by a cyb core.
Face looking to contain Brace early rallies his troops below the choke of Brace's base and has 3 zealots there until they're taken out by 6 vultures.
Brace now begins building a cc at his natural once he has enough mines placed, while setting up an armory.
Faceless also expands as he feels confident in his control group of goons being able to hold an attack.
Brace adds his 3rd followed by a 4th fact when Face decides to us his force of goons to contain Brace.
Now Face noticed that his scout has died sends his entire army thinking that an expansion started @9. As soon as he leaves Brace quickly unseiges his tank and follows the goons. Soon with the help of reinforced mines the goons are trapped @9 with no where to go. Face tries to force a fight but knowing that he is out numbered pulls his goons back and wait for more troops.
With the change in containment Brace expands twice simultaneously @3's natural and all mineral exp, While laying a small mine field as defense.
Face has now massed a fair amounts of goon's and z's from his main and is looking to sandwich the containment effort. He succeeds in breaking out and now has if entire army mobilized.
Face regroups his forces close to the middle of them map while building out of 5 gates and having 2 branches of tech open to him with a citadel and robotics facility.
Face is quickly back on the attack with a force of z's/goons but runs into mines without the help of observers and looses a few troops before hitting Brace's all mineral exp @3. But the attack is squelched by the reinforced tanks and mines.
Brace has now started his academy and 2nd armory and already completed his science facility while Face is starting his 2nd expansion at his all mineral and has begun building his templar archives.
Both play now begin to build up their forces while scouting the map. Brace decides to increase his advantage by adding another expansion @3's main.
Once Face got a big enough army he decides to attack Brace's in what may be a game ending battle.
To bad he lost it though.
Well with Brace still having most of his troops left he simply countered with a mass tank/goliath/vulture combo While building out of about 9 facts

A few little fight continue but its was obvious the game was over.
