Lifetime Rating for Dr_Scribble: 6.0000 |  | In response to all of your complaints I’ve decided to write a Fact or Fiction BR on one really good and statistic filled game, and one that I made up but nevertheless is good. Oh and this time I used spell check. =] BTW the only one that figured out which game was real (# 1) last time was D$^GOB_X
GAME #1
PLAYERS: Don’t remember his name –protoss (I’ll refer to him as the big bad wolf)
Worstplayerinnh –protoss (I’ll refer to him as worst)
MAP: Lost Temple
Both of the players start out by going pylon on 7 followed by a gate on 9. As soon as his gate finishes the big bad wolf gets his core started, while worst sets up another pylon and 2nd gate. As soon as the big bad wolfs core is online he gets the singularity charge for his goons. In almost no time he has 4 goons ready compared to worst's 5 zeals. The big bad wolf at this point decides that it’s time to put up a robo facility, and plan for a small reaver drop.
At about the same time that the big bad wolfs facility is done and he starts getting his supporting bay, worst puts up his facility. Don’t forget that neither player has yet put up any expansions or even attacked with a single unit, and we’re already about 10 min. into the game.
The big bad wolf soon has around 12 goons and a shuttle, compared to worst’s 7 zeals and 2 goons. What surprises me is that there has been very little scouting involved, only in the begging on their 9th probes. However if one of them had scouted just recently they would have seen no detection in their opponents’ base and would have surely attacked with a few DT’s.
Soon with a reaver in a shuttle and 12+ goons the big bad wolf decides to attack. Worst having only 8 zeals and a reaver stands no chance against the powerful force. However the battle that ensues is a good one.
The big bad wolf first sends in his goons below worts cliff. He then uses the shuttle as a spotter and starts attacking his zeals. While the zeals are charging down the ramp, the wolf unloads his reaver next to worts reaver. He then starts “popping” his reaver in and out of the shuttle after landing a scarab. With some nice goon micro the big bad wolf is able to destroy the zeals, and with the help of the reaver, within minutes the base is destroyed.

GAME # 2
PLAYERS: )Pizza(-man –terran(I’ll refer to him as pizza)

MAP: Lost Temple
Pizza starts out by going 7 depot 8 rax 10 rax 11 depot and 12 gas. While pizza starts out with a strange build consisting of, hatch 8, ovie 9, pool 12. They both scouted with their 9th peons. Pizza seeing as to how The Korean had no defenses started an attack force of only marines. When he had 12 he went straight for the drones killing all of them before lings and a sunken could be put on the defense.
Pizza wasn’t idle during all this at home he already had an academy and a fact building. By the time The Korean had all his drones back on the mineral patches Pizza decided it was time to attack again. This time his attack force was 6 marines, 2 vultures and 3 medics.
The Korean seeing this with his ovie hastily set up 3 sunkens and from his 2 hatcheries had 12 lings. As the huge attack force strode up the ramp they met up with 12 lings, while they were fighting them off 6 more lings ran right by them and started attacking from behind. This wore the force down to 2 rines, 2 medics, and 1 vulture. The 3 sunkens easily took out the pathetic force in a mater of seconds.
During the attack Pizza had taken his natural and fortified it with a tank turret and a full bunker. He decided to keep up the pressure by attacking again with 2 tanx 3 vultures and m&m. this attack did really well. The Korean had been teching up to lurks all this time and only had a few lings and hydras along with his 3 sunkens on defense. The tanx easily took out the hydras and sunkens while the m&m and vultures took out the lings.
It looked like it was all over for the Korean when suddenly what I thought where zergling eggs hatched into 3 lurks. While the attack was busy with 6 newly hatched lings the lurks buried right next to the tanx and m&m. Pizza was still building his comsat and it was half way through when the lurks buried and took out the tanx and m&m. By the time the comsat finished, all that pizza had left was 2 vultures and 4 rines. During this attack the Korean already had a spire and was morphing 6 mutas.
Due to pizzas early exp. He was able to get a star port and a dropship during the attack. In the drop ship he puts 1 tank a scv and 3 rines. He takes his cargo straight for the Koreans peon line. But wait. What’s this? The Koreans mutas have already hatched and he’s sending them straight for pizzas peon line. Unfortunately for pizza the mutas run into the dropship. Killing it fast b4 reaching pizzas peon line. Having only a few scattered m&m for defense he is force to surrender.
