Lifetime Rating for {TnM}~Mana: 2.0000 |  | Well i had just gotten out of a game with a friend soupercow and a guy named $nake-eye$. It was quite a borning game and we ended up just allying anyway. After this Soupercow and Snake (He will be called Snake for my index finger gets tiard of hitting 4) get into a argument of who is better with what race blah blah. So i say "Why do you to face off 1v1 to see just who is the better one. They Agree and let me watch. *Note - This is my first battle report, i had pictures but am still learning to be able to put them up*.

vs.
Snake
After awhile of ranting about how the Terran suck and should be banned from SC Souper finally went random as did Snake. They picked everyones favorite map! Big Game Hunters! (Oh Joy!).
The game started with Souper as Blue Zerg at the 12 o'clock position and Snake as White Toss at the Bottom Right hand Corner (4:30 position? My watch is off.)
Souper went with a 11pool and assimilator while Snake went with a 7pylon then a quick forge after hearing the shouts of Souper saying
"Prepare for the Mass Rush of lings!"
But alass Souper build a sunken and two more hatcheries not yet building a zergling. Snake though belived the cries of Souper and slapped down 5 cannons then when he felt safe quickly expanded to the 3'oclock position.
Meanwhile souper build a spire and queens nest and morphed to a hive and then put down a Third Hatch. I look back at Snake and he has with grace simultaniously slapped down 6 gateways in his base (This could be the start of something nasty!). Added a C-Core and a Cit of Adun after that.
While Souper pumps out a Greater spire and some mutas it seems clear his plan of attack (Remember he still has Snake thinking mass lings)
Souper then expanded out to the natural at his base and then sent his mutas to the Horizon looking for trouble. But he found something worse ah yes..Probes mining like the little miners they are.
All this time Snake has been pumping zealots and threw down a Archive. He watches in disbelive as the mutas fly right into his main probe line. With some quick thinking though he moves his probes and the mutas run smack dab into the cannon mass and are taken out with 6 probes down.
At this point Souper Capatalizes and churs out the mutas and searches for more probe chow. He finds Snakes 3'oclock expansion and has it for breakfast, Nexus probes assimilator and all!.
In desperation Snake sends 12 zealots to the natural only to have them savagly impaled by the 12 sunken colonys there. Meanwhile the now 8 mutas that took out Snake's expansion have formed into their Crab counterparts and starts to Reak massive havok. At this point Snake has 2 cosairs to beat of the guards which he tries desperatly.
After some nice dragoon micro and 4 cosairs they finally beat off the guards with 4 gateways 5 cannons and 4 pylons destroyed.
Souper Regroups back at his base and Morphs some more guardians. But at this point Snake has 12 cosairs and he takes the offensive and searches for some overlord dinner and that he finds.
Here i take a break and ask each seperatly there plan of attack or any strat they have on there mind.
Snake replies with
"Recall in Mass dragoons with Arbiters"
Souper replies with
"Ill see, right now i gotta protect my ovies"
With Souper concentrating on D-vourers and Snake working on his Arbiter recall all is calm on the Mass Minerals horizon. Then the silence breaks when 2 Arbiters sneak into Soupers untill now untouched base. With the support of 12 cosairs they arbiters recall in 22 goons at the back of the base.
Souper rushes his mutas back but the cosairs are just to much. Then with a game changing move (It didnt really change the game though) He uses a muta to lure the Chase happy cosairs right over 10 newly hatched Spore colonies! All of them are quickly deleted and the arbiters stand alone.
But the goons are to powerfull for souper as he watches in pain as his base gets torn apart from the inside out. He quickly sends some drone the to the top left hand corner and stars a new base.
Snake comments about the goons hinting a good game with it. Souper replies with a John Paul Jones patriotic type I have not yet begun to fight laugh! "hahhahahhah".
Alass the Mr Jones never came to help as Snakes goons slowly killed off all the sunkens at his natural and went hunting for scraps. Yet Souper is persistant and expands in 2 more places 6 o'clock and top right hand corner. Yet Snake now has 5 arbiters out and his warping dragoons all over the map like mad. This is the end for Souper but his pride being to much never surrendered and instead of a ally ended up with a loss. I caught up with our contestants in the channel e4 for some post game comments.
Souper commented that
"I think mana is Sexy"
Snake commented that
"I liked soupers manover with the mutas and it could have killed me. He later said also that mana is sexy.
