that I wanted to write a battle report. So after finding a few people, I plopped down in front of my computer with a pen and a notepad, and the rest is history in my first battle report...
The Lost Temple
Raptor Rex1-Protoss@12
^zergling^732-Zerg@9
Raptor started out with one of the most unusual builds I have ever seen. He started out with a pylon, followed by an assimilator, then a single gateway. His building placement was also very odd, and he didn't have that many probes on minerals. A posterboard newbie.
Zergling wasn't quite so weird, with a spawning pool on 5, followed by a lord. As soon as his pool finished, he hatched six lil' lings. He also had very few drones on minerals. Instead of sending his lings right off, he let them sit around for a few minutes to take a look at their beautiful surroundings...
After a little while and six zerglings later, zergling sent off his lil' critters to raise hell. Upon arriving at Raptors base, he had managed to get out one zealot (a very slow builder, I do say so myself). When the zeglings arrived, Raptor summed up his feelings of the situation in one word...
With some of the crappiest micro around, Raptor moved his zealot in to the midst of the zergling pack. It didn't even start attacking til it was almost dead, and zergling (the person) suffered no losses. After killing the zealot, zerglings rippeed down the sole pylon supporting the gate, and the rest is history.
