Lifetime Rating for Mind Twist: 4.1333 |    | Yes, this report is pointless. It seemed to be a 10 minute game, which it was. I'm bored, mad, and I suck so I won't play BW for a while.. and since I've got nothing else to do, I will write this small report with nothing useful in it. Enjoy!
I got on X-Force and got a ladder game with a guy named krypto. He made a game on the map Showdown, I think.. It was vertically rectangular, with a starting spot in the top left and top right, with a twisting path for land units. Not many places to expand, just 3 patches of mineral here and there, thats what my OLs found out..

Me, Zerg (Random), top left
krypto, Terran (Random), lower right
I started out with a pool on 8 (I think I did this wrong by making the drones as soon as I had 50 min, without waiting for the one currently building to pop out). I got 6 lings, and sent them to his base.. He had about 2 rax (That I saw), a bunker and a buttload of marines.
I, being the crappy player that I am.. remembered what little I knew about ZvT and thought about lurkers. I got the den up, and went for a 2nd hatch.. Here's where my problems arose. I didn't have enough lings for defense. I made maybe 12 the whole time. I got a lair and lurker aspect around the same time, and started Overlord speed (the cheeper of the 2 upgrades i wanted for a drop).
I sent more lings to his base to see what he was up to, and OH MY GOD saw a squad of m+m heading towards me. I got 2 sunkens up b4 they got to me, but he wisely snuck around the side and attacked the right area of my base, with only 1 sunken guarding.
I made some more lings, and got 2 hydras out before all my forces were gone.. I was screwed, so I left.
Lessons Learned:
-If you're going to play, don't SUCK like I do!!
-Remember lesson #1. |
