I'm writing this BR so that I could get some feedback on my toss vs. zerg games (perhaps against korean zergs too?). Anyway, I stayed up playing SC all nite, mainly 1v1's. Ran into a random player named Zargoth in clan -x17 and we played. First game on temple, we both random'ed with me toss at 3 vs his zerg at 12. Basically we both did early expansions except I actually took my mineral natural too and he late-muta'ed me. Standard 3-4 cannons around nexus just wouldn't hold but when archons drove'em away and 1-1-1 zealots marched into his base he conceded. This BR's about the rematch right after the first game:

Map: Temple, yay
Snowjob - random - toss @ 3
Zargoth - random - zerg @ 12

some random system eh?

When I started with a nexus and 4 probes, I 2nd guess'ed he was zerg since SC's random system is gay like a neutered dog. I did 8pylon, 9 gate, 11 pylon, etc. Scouted with my 1st gate peon and found a morphing hatch right below his ramp instead of expansion. Gay. Peon stayed there for a while, but retreated since early harrassment on my part failed in the first game. Hoping he drone'ed instead of zerglings I marched 2 zealots + 1 probe in but was driven home by zerglings. I fended my ramp. At this point, I noticed something that bothered me quite a bit - his overlords. He had at least 4 at my base:

Overlord #1: above my gas
Overlord #2: at my gate
Overlord #3: ramp/expansion
Overlord #4: somewhere probably between our bases

OMFG!! If I did some gay move like corsair rush so he can't peep my base like that I'd lose for sure to hydras.
Trying not to be overly-distracted by these floating fiends, I proceeded to gas/forge for 1/0/0 while non-stop zealots from 2 gates and expanded when my supply was around 45. I threw up a cannon above my ramp so he can't pull a korean early mass lings on me and went on and put 3 cannons around my natural nexus. Somehow I knew I was gonna lose this one - because of those cannons, if he were to hydra rush I was pretty much screwed but without floating pylons I couldn't tell whehter or not he's doing all ground or mutas.

After my natural expansion came online - yes, all 4 Ol's were still in my base, now I could sacrifice some gas for goons to get rid of them, but that would hurt my templar production. I started warping another forge, and an archive when my zealots leg were upgraded. Trying to be a surprising cheese, I rushed his front with 12 zealots. These 12 "my life for aiur"'s faced no more than 10 zerglings accompanied by 2 sunkens. Defense quickly died. Now here I made a mistake that probably cost me the game - half my zealots followed 3 new hydra into his natural mineral line. Drones + hydras raped them and I was forced to retreat everything without even killing that hatch below ramp. Everything went downhill from this point. I added 2 gates, bringing my total to 4, and started templar production. Yippy - when I warped the 2nd forge + archive I did 2 forges instead. So I still had no archive. =]

When my archive was done, I quickly researched storm and warped 4 templars in, as well as 2 goons for those pesky OL's. I snuck a probe into 6 to expand in the meanwhile. I built a cannon or 2 in my main at the spot where terran tanks can hit 12's ramp bottom. Yippy, his OL's started moving really fast. I freaked out and pulled all my zealots from my choke to main. The OL's came back with a mix of hydra/lings/lurkers. Since my storm was only half way, and my robotics was still warping, I was pretty much screwed. All lings/hydra died but so did my zealots, leaving 3 lurkers. I quickly expanded at 6, and put up 4 gates down there since my gates at home were getting wasted by lurkers. When storm was finally ready I killed off the offending lurkers but Zargoth brought more lurkers/lings/hydras via drop and front door. I simply didn't have enough zealots to fend them off. It took him a couple tries but he was finally able to destroy my natural + everything in my main except for 2 forges and a nexus. Welp, I had a good number of zealots produced from 5 gates at 6 main, and I charged them, unsuccessfully, into his base. Giving up hope, I sent everything I had into 9, thinking he'd have expanded and I caught 2 expansions naked and destroyed them both, but not before his royal 2/2 hydra army killed my 6. I threw a pylon here and there and we talked a bit and I conceded.

gg zargoth :( i hate losing tvz tho

Now, this is the first time that someone let his OL's stay in my toss base for this long. Usually people leave when they see core near-done. But apparently he knew my build so I was screwed there :( Any suggestions? I'm semi-confident in my protoss vs. zerg and zerg vs. protoss games as I almost never lose them and I still believe that zerg owns toss on land especially early on. I'm looking for criticisms in my pvz or zvp games, especially from people whom I've played against in the past (my other nicks are uncle_a and iamnotdrunk!). Last question - zerg players tend almost always do the 10/9 expand build, 1 outta 3 times I can actually kill that hatch right after it finishes hatching with careful micro's, but recently I'm running outta luck - b4 my 2nd zealot arrives my opponent would reinforce with 6+ zerglings <-- any suggestions on this as to whehter or not I should even waste time doing it?

The End =Þ

P.S. like my last BR, no pics no nothing cuz i can't html
