MILLENIUM MARINE MACRO...DOES IT WORK?

It was a freezing cold early evening on the 1st January, 2000.After having woken up several hours earlier from a night of revelry, I fancied a little Starcraft to wake up my brain, which was still taking the scenic tour of the Land of Nod, or so it felt at the time.
So I booted up Brood War, and very soon found myself in Battle.Net.
I'm known as robertguy on B.net (H to everyone who's seen me there, especially Lord-Bubba, -_KINGPIN_-, Corran.Horn and -_Kiran_-!) and after spending some time looking for a decent melee game (My win/loss counter at the time was 3/19 [laugh all you want]) someone suggested "Join BAT/BAT". So I did, and eneded up in a three player free-for-all, with JoeyJoeJo (Hereafter referred to as Joey) and UK~FIREBAT{666}(Now to be known as BAT) as the agressors on a Big Game Hunters. I was desperate for wins, so I agreed to play, even though I despise BGH (Too many resousces=too little strategy).
When the game loaded, I found myself playing Purple Terran (The race I picked) at the Middle-Left Start Location. A quick glance at the diplomacy table revealed Joey and Bat to be Yellow and Black(Or Brown... I have a colour patch downloaded from Purity of a Race, a site hosted by Campaign Creations [Visit them at www.campaigncreations.com] ) respectively, but I didn't know what or where they were... yet.
Immediately I began constructing SCVs like it was going out of fashion, and mined as if there was no tomorrow. As soon as I had maxed out my supply limit, I put up two barracks and started churning out marines. I had a new strategy (See the title to find out what it is) and I wanted to try it out.
As soon as I had enough marines to defend from an early rush and a couple of bunkers being fabricated at my choke point, I sent out a lone marine to find the enemy.
Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag and smile, smile, smile, dumdedumdedum...
SCHHHPLUTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My marine had just been impaled on the end of a Sunken Colony's tentacle in the middle-top start location. A BLACK sunken Colony at that. Well, at least I knew where BAT was.
But then , disaster struck, and the Devil's creation flashed across the screen. Such an abomination has sent hapless B.net players running from the screen in terror, and some have blinded themselves to avoid the sheer... horror.
Waiting for players:...
Three quarters of a minute later, BAT was out of the game. Which was bad, as now Joey could concentrate his entire attention on me. But then again, I could concentrate my entire attention on HIM (Evil laugh).
By now I had built a comsat station and scanned about to find out where Joey was. This revealed Joey to be a) above me (Yikes!), b)to be Zerg (Yikes!) and to have a VERY large base (YIIIKKKEEESS!!!!!!)
But wait, what's this Zerg chamber just off the coast, and just within sight of one of my Missile Turrets? Oh, It's an Evolution Chamber ( >:) ). Rubbing my hands with glee, I clicked on an SCV and clicked on 'Build Factory'.
A few minutes later, a Siege Tank rolled over to the Northern coast of my base. With a whirr of gyros, it transformed into Siege Mode. Seconds later, explosive shells screamed into the air, and tore into the massive, living organ. Blood vessels ruptured, and bloodied hunks of flesh were flung about the landscape. It wasn't long before a scarlet flower unfolded from the many wounds on the 'structure's' body, and it's vile remains crashed lifelessly to the ground.
However,I had not noticed the fact that a lone Hydralisk had beeen spitting at my tank over the water, and, seconds after the chamber fell, my Tank was flung 100 feet into the air on a rising collumn of flame, as its fragile magazine detonated. I got my revenge though, as another Sige Tank later, two Hydralisk corpses were seen seeeping into the earth...
All this time I had been constructing Marines, and by now I had a very substantial force. I figured that now was as good a time as any to attack, and so I dragged a box over my marines.

Somehow Joey had managed to get a LARGE group of Hydralisks up my rear. The weakened ('Thanks' to base defenses) Marines put up a brave fight and managed to kill off several Hydralisks, but they were sadly overwhelmed (The Hydralisks in the picture weren't all of them either. Before the fog of war covered my Marine's corpses, I saw a couple dozen hydralisks squirm into view). My Battlecruiser, which was at the the time pumping holes into Joey's collection of queens, followed soon after. Bummer.
I wasn't disheartened, however, and continued to produce marines and a second Battlecruiser.
Oh, what's this? Two Hatcheries right within range of my Siege Tanks. How nice.
BLAM!BLAM!BLAM!SKUKUK-oh.
Suddenly Broodlings were crawling out of a very large hole in my tank and instantly started to hack away at the fragile foundations of my coastal turrets. A massive Marine firesweep took care of the obscenities, and I moved in a second Tank to finish what the first had started. Seconds later it fell to the same fate as it's predecessor. The marines quickly took care of the Broodlings.
'Ello, 'ello, 'ello, what's all this then? Six Scourge just hatching from eggs. Bugger.
My Battlecruiser fled for it's life, pursued by the Scourge which were in turn being hounded by Turrets missiles. Two Scourge imapcted, then a third... but fortunately the last two (One was killed by the turrets)passed just inside my marine's Gauss Gun range, and they met a grisly fate, with my Battlecruiser escaping on 15 health. Talk about a close shave.
Things were quiet for a while, except for Joey having another go at my B.C. with another half-dozen scourge. He foolishly flew over my choke point, however (Which was defended by 4 Turrets, two filled Bunkers, and my marine Strike Force), and they were shot out of the sky before my eyes even registered there were Scourge being shot at. But I had little time to celebrate my victory, however, as barely a minute later a H-U-G-E horde of Hydralisks attacked!

But I had one last card to play. Joey's main Horde was razing the northern part of my base, but I still had my largely unscathed factory to the south, with only ONE Hydralisk spitting at it's Machine Shop! Desperately I put a counter-attack into motion.

As Joey went on to raze my last few buildings (A few Turrets to the south) he remarked "How Dead am I then?"(Obviously referring to the earlier Death Threats). I simply ended the game with:

And the lesson learned today is (Drum roll)... Robert Frazer is Crap at Macro marine Management. What would you have done in my posistion? Comments would be much appreciated
