I recently played a game where i got stuck with one of the worst people who has no common sense what so ever. I hate playing tvb games but I went along with it anyway. I'm not the greatest player in the world but I do know how to spot a bad ally. I don't want to reveal any names of the players so it won't ceate any embarresment. My two opponents and I were set for random and my ally had selected zerg. When the game started I found myself in the 6 position and my ally in the 3(the map was temple). After setting the deplomacy my ally said that he was going for a rush. Now lets actually define what a rush is... a rush is when you build a small army within the first 5 min. of the game and attack one of the opponents... my ally's version of a rush was building a hatch at his choke and going straight for hydras. I then asked him why he didn't build zerglings because that's mainly what a rush from zerg consists of and he replied because they don't come out fast enough... I started to think to myself "why me!". I ended up being toss and went for a quick zealot army to help my ally's hydras. Normally in 2v2 games you and an ally team up on one of the opponents and then take out the other one later. My ally instructed me to attack the one in the 9 position while he was to attack the one at the 12. When i asked him to scout with a drone or something he replied "why we already know where they are". The purpose of scouting is to see what races you will be facing so you are prepared for a certain attack. I then attacked the opponent at the 9 with an army of 15 zealots... when they got there they were easily taken out by a mass army of hydras and zerglings. I then quickly started building another army of zealots to aid my partner in the assault on the other opponent. When I sent another wave of zealots I instructed my ally to help and he replied "I can't I'm still building up". When my army reached the choke the zealots were getting hit by dragoons and cannons, not to mention a couple of Dark Templars, since my ally was near by I asked if he could send an overlord for some detection. He sent the overlord right over my army and into the middle of the protoss base and was quickly taken out by dragoons and cannons. After my army was wiped out I knew that we were doomed and there was no use in wasting more of my time so I killed all my buildings with my probes and exited the game. What's the moral of the story you ask? Make sure you know who your playing with... stick with a friend that you know will be there for you when you need him.

Thanks for taking your time to read this...
