I know I retired from StarCraft, but hey it was Christmas and the urge to play SC boiled in my blood like a returning Crack addiction.
I logged onto Kali and went to Mavens server which was public now so I expected to find some games fast. One of my friends {PH}88fingers, was asking around for a 2on2. His partner was icantwin staffer IN`Lameking so I needed a good ally. After asking a ton of AFK people Kold"/ wanted to play too so here is the beginning of...

The pregame chat was filled with nice Christmas spirit :)
I choose Toss and got the Lower Left position.
My partner Kold randomed and got Zerg at Top right.
88fingers randomed and drew Terran at Lower Right.
Mr. Lameking also randomed and got Terran at the last corner.
I started on my cosair attack build with intention of going reavers right after.
8 phylon
9 assimilator
11 gate (putting 3 on gas)
15/16 Cycore
once Cycore is up put down 2 Stargates and 2 phlons while making 2 probes
When we found out LK was terran Kold decided to go Muta to complement my sairs. We found 88 soon after going 3 fact gols.
Our first attack was easily turned back by 88 who had as many Goliath’s as Kold had mutas. Before that attack I had left my 4 sairs right on top of one of LK's starports in hopes of killing a newborn wraith. LK though had gotten cloak and quickly saved his wraiths before any major damage could be done.
I tried to contain LK in his main, but I did not have obs yet to fend of the evil wraiths. So we turned again to 88fingers who had just expanded to the base above him. I loaded up some reavers and a couple of goons to deal with all the gols and me and Kold attacked...
If I go reavers the upgrades I usally get are speed and then reaver damage which really counts more then capacity in the early going.
After our frist attack on 88's main failed to the mass gols I had instructed Kold to switch off fast to hydras which he was already in the process of doing, minds that think alike in 2on2s is a plus :)
Below we drop and finish up 88's expansion while I expand myself to the middle islands.
At this point LK has taken his right expansion and probably his bottom exp, I have completely gone heavy reaver with about 3 sairs with an attack upgrade followed by 2 obs with speed in the air. Kold is all hydra now and 88 is in deep doo doo.
On my newest expansion I find that LK has expanded also. With probes putting up cannons and SCV's putting up turrents, a single shot is fired that ignites the next series of bloodbaths.
LK has to stop that expansion of mine if he hopes to keep up with us and by time for 88 to recover, we on the other hand if we take that island we win, if not we can still sit back and build up more. So this is a must win for LK here.
(sorry did not have time to hit print screen to get all the action while everything was blowing up :'( )
First LK drops a buttload of marines, but with some anal probe micro and some mean cannons I am able to hold. He then comes in with his wraiths, but those too are taken out with my obs and sairs and the remaining of Kold's mutas. All 3 of us lost every single air unit we have in a massive air battle, LK drops some tanks now on the island and has scvs repairing and putting up turrents in haste. All for not as me and Kold both drop our reserves onto the island. In a blaze of Scarab shells and Hydra spit the terran encampment is reduced to rumble and my barely touched Nexus starts to pump out new blue collar probes.
gg's are exchanged at this point and LK leaves to go to bed, 88fingers leaves also, but he is not done for the night and leaves to go get a new ally...
Who will his new ally be? It is he who strikes fear into the hearts of many a SC player... the Battle Report coming up Next!...
