I was cruising along on bnet, looking for a game one day, and I found an expert using terran. He kicked my ass(damned spider mines) quickly, and I spent the next 30 minutes tweaking my strat, until I was completely anti spider mine(now it is definitely unstoppable). So I look for another terran player to dump on, but unfortunately, never found one. Only guys I played were some crappy zerg players who thought they could beat me. Proved them wrong :)
anyways, a couple of days later:
LOST TEMPLE

First let me tell that I'm sick of playing other toss players. I've beaten the last 30 or so toss players, and it's getting a little boring, especially since this guy was 6-6. So, I finally forced myself to pick terran:(
I usually do a build order with terran, but I really screwed it up this time. I went turbo tanks this time, but when I tank pushed him with my pathetic amount of troops, he had carriers! CARRIERS! Talk about turbo newbie, not only did he use them, he was teching straight to them! HAHAHA!
Of course, I was in trouble, because I suck with terrans, and I find I only had 7 scvs mining!:( anyways, I make another feeble attempt to tank push him, expand, and make a few more scvs, still only bringing me up to 11.
Now I begin to realize how much I stopped playing with them (even though I hate to use them). I expand twice, getting lots of goliaths, and then, out of nowhere, 6 carriers blows up by expansion right outside my base, then retreat. Too bad, I only had a dozen goliaths, so he probably could kill me right there.
I expand again, and realize we both have three bases, and he's building more carriers, and some zealots. But, feeling secure, i start to build ghosts, along with more goliaths with their shiny new charron boosters.
CHARRON-BUILT FOR POWER AND STURDIBILITY
I finally go attack with 2 tanks, 12 goliaths, and 6 ghosts. I meet some zealots when I start sieging and attacking his nexus at his expansion, but my goliaths, tanks, and ghosts make quick work of them. then came the carriers. I quickly locked down all but one(its damn hard to hit those ones overlapping everthing else), and even missed my target and locked down an interceptor! anyways, I attacked the remaining carrier with my goliaths, then the rest dropped like flies. Scratch 5 carriers.
Unfortunately, a large wave of zealots quickly came and destroyed my remaining troops.
My main sucked. I had one starport, 3 factories, and 2 barracks. I still managed to go on though. I started to expand again, when I got 3 tanks, 12 goliaths, and 8 ghosts to attack him.
This time, though, he only had 3 carriers, easily dispatched of, and his zealots dropped like flies again.
He left the game
LESSONS LEARNED:
I suck with terran
I still hate terran
If you're toss, never let them get lockdown
Looking over this, I should've nuked.
I still am screwed about pics
