Lifetime Rating for [_]k9: 5.5000 |   | It started out on temple. i choose terran in the chat room, and i told the [o] guy "bring ur toss", as he had said that rens (terrans) suck out in the chat room. NE wayz, i got mid left position, and i went with a standard powering marine order. depot 2 rax depot, pretty standard. I scouted him at bottom middle, and i saw ~2 zealots, and he had gas and a core going. I started making marines and scv's and depots. I got a refinery as SOON as extra res. allowed, followed closely by a engineering bay. I got an acad as soon as the refinery completed, and all the while i NEVER stopped making scv's and marines. I scouted him with a marine, and i found ~4 zealots and 2-3 dragoons. I had my academy just completed, and i made 2 meds and my scan right off the bat. During the extra time it takes to make a medic, and im not making any scv's, i had enuff money to make a factory w/o stopping production. also, i got lev 1 armor and a turret at my choke. I scanned him as soon as the scanner finished. i saw 2 gates, a citadel going up, but i didnt see his units because he had them at his choke (he was bottom mid position). I had, at this point, !25 marines, 4 meds, and 3 bats, and as soon as my tank completed i sent my forces off along with an scv. I immediately made a starport, and i kept making infantry and tanx and scv's, altho i kept the infantry to marines because i wuld need the extra gas. Anywayz, one of my tailing units found that my opponent had his units outside my outer natural expansion. my first forces had already arrived above his natural, and he had expanded. i immediately moved my units to his expansion, hoping he would attempt to attack me. I started a turret asap. Then, he attacked me with his newly made forces and a high templar. i immediately stopped the turret and made a bunker. THis saved my raid, as only 3 marines, 4 meds and a tank survived the attack, and my vessel and irradiate where also ressearching at home. I had also expanded during the attack (i have good multi tasking skills 8). i made 2 more facts, 1 more rax (making 3 rax and 3 facts) and rallyed them in front of the [o]'s base, wich i was seiging. I was slowly pushing up with tanks, but he would use his dragoons in a quick hit and run tactic, wich got very annoying. Then my irradiate finished researching, and i unloaded my bunx and kept my marines in front of my tanks, since now i culd just irradiate temps, and stimped/med suported
infantry > goons. About this point, my 2 extra facts and 1 rax finished, and i had some serious production again. I had ~ 6 tanks, 30 rines, 8 meds, and 3 vessels irradiating any templar unforunate enuff to be caugh within my continuous scanning. At this point, my opponent had 1 base, while i had 3 ( i STILL never stopped making scv's. i had a good 40 control in scv's by the time the game was over). I had plenty of extra money, so i sent an scv to expand mid right and i scanned the islands. i made 3 more raxs and 2 more facts, but [o] concieted the game. ALso, i had just finished my covert ops, cuz ghosts > protoss. they lockdown goons, do 10 damage to zeals, are awesome spotters for tanx, and can nuke (a heavily underated ability). THey also rape toss air forces. Newayz, back to the game. I learned the importance of atacking early, cuz the real PvT imbalance comes when the toss expands and has 8 gates pumping out mad zealots and goons. ON 1 base each, the terran is > the toss cuz the marines are so powerfull and balancing production between goons, zeals, and temps is so tuff on 2 gatewayz, not to mention the incredible shortage of gas. Also, bunx make ur rines invincable to storm.
NOTE: I did not use the [o]utcast members name becuz i didnt ask his permission. ']['errans dont suck 8)
