we were playing a modem game on one of my pre made scenarios.
i was the white human and my opponent was a blue orc.
i began with town hall,barracks,farm, farm, farm, lumber mill, smith,barracks, farm.
when the second barrack was about done i had about 6 footmen and 1 archer
when 5 grunts came in my footmen made short work of them with only 2 losses.
i sent out my other injured footman to scout. he didnt find anything but a wandering
axethrower and his death. all this time i was pumping out footmen archers and peasants
i later made a few farms. It seemed we were both going for higher units when 3 ogres came charging in
my level 4 footmen took them easily. I started on a third barracks and made ballistas to guard my base
i then sent 9 level 5 footmen to scout and take out some of my enemys forces.
we both got to the higher levels but i had made somewhere around 20 demo squads
my footmen found the enemy base still at stronghold i held them back went to castle made mages
researched spells and when i was there he was trying to make a fortress. i launched 20 knights
toward the left of his base while i sent my demo squads to wait behind some trees near his base
i sent my footmen and my knights in for a distraction. they all died but not before i tookout all
his buildings except a barracks a dozen farms and a lumber mill. I later sent in mages to clean up all his peons. they fell to ogres but not before doing their tasks. the enemy had no more peons and
no way to make more so he attacked my base i was ill prepared. But my forces attacked his farms and barracks while about 10 knights and 7 footmen tried to take about 15 ogres i won barely. thats the end. |
