This is my first battle report, so please bare with me….

( I think when you say this, you win some kind of pity and sympathy...hehe, but it's not my first)

It was on a Saturday night, and I was a little bored. Well, it was about 3 A.M, so maybe I was sleepy. Anyways, I was asking around Nohunters for a game, when FoxBat challenged me to a duel. A gentleman that I am, I accepted the challenge, and he proceeded into making a game. Upon joining, I noticed it was a ladder match, and that the speed was on fast. He later told me that he loved to play Terran, and because he is a micro-freak, and therefore liked it better on fast.

INFORMATION:

Limp_Bizkit666 (me) at 6:00 as the slobering Zerg.
FoxBat_ at 9:00 as the greedy Terran.
Battle Ground: the over-played Lost Temple ( I still love the map tho.)
Ladder Ratings: Both under 1000. Hehe 980 and 97X. (My ladder rating is not accurate, for I have played only one game up to that point…it might be lower…Doh!)

The game rolled by. After finding him at 9:00 with my first overlord, I set up my game towards lurkers. I quickly filled up the 9 limit, made a hatchery at the choke, then extractor, an ovie, a spawning pool, and three sunkens at the choke in quick succession. Just as the third sunken finished morphing, a lone marine came scouting. But with the sunkens all lined up at the ledge, he never even made it to the ramp. I, then made hydra den, and a lair. I rushed him with one whole zergling, but it was quickly blasted up into millions of flesh pieces as a tank launched a missile at it. Seeing the defense, I rather went to a drop. I built another hatchery, while the lair was still morphing, and let my hatchery at choke become a Lair. I only had about three hydras and a bunch of zergling, for I was teching hard. I finished lurker aspect, and when I was done with the two overlord upgrades, of course the speed and cargo, I loaded a lurker and two hydras up to his peon line. Mean while, I sent three lurkers into his natural, to see what was up. He have had not expanded, but his choke was completely blocked off, with buildings, a missile turret and a tank, so I was unable to attack from there. I simply burrowed my lurkers there, in order to contain him. Meanwhile, on his peon line, the lone lurker caused havoc, for Fox did not even try to make any kind of a defense for a drop. I morphed one of the hydra into a lurker while the other hydra died, but with tanks and SV, they were quickly fried only destroying an Academy, lotsa SCVs, and a Depot. At my base, with four hatcheries and an expansion at the natural, I pumped out hydras, zerglings, and ovies. I didn't even make spire, nor queen's nest, for I was sure that he would lose. He was contained, and was doing bad on economy. I loaded up 9 overlords full of hydras, lurkers, and zerglings, and off went to his base. Once again, his base was empty of defense and the unloaded units killed his base miserably. But wait, this weirdo started to fly his building all over the place. Damn, with only about a dozen hydras, I was not able to destroy all of them, which included a CC, two Barracks, a Starport, and a Factory while they were flying away. Meanwhile, he attacked me with all he had. Two SV, about 10 marines, 2 medics, and 6 tanks. With my defense only being the sunkens, I quickly lost my expansion and the choke. Too confident that I will be destroying his buildings, I did not consider this attack to be major, and kept on searching for the flying buildings. I was constantly massing hydras in case my win was threatened, to slow the attack down somehow, when they infiltrated into the heart of my main. My lings and lurkers died without even killing a marine, while my dozen hydras being on the building chase. Uh oh, he was killing all my buildings and I still haven't found his buildings yet. GOD DAMN, where da HELL ARE THEY? I frantically searched the map with all my overlords, but it was in vain. Tha massed hydras died killing only two stimmed marines, and the attack was still in full force. The only structure left was a lair, so I took a drone on an ovie, to lock the game by making another hatchery at an island. Because he commented on being out of minerals, and I knew for a fact that the only building left was a CC, I knew making a hatchery at an island will cause a forfeit. But then I screamed, NOOOOOO!!!! Way to the top left island, for the bottom right island was blocked of marines, was taking a while and my lone Lair was dropping on the red HP. Afraid I might lose, I dropped the lone drone on the 6:00 main, pressed "b", then "h" and clicked on the middle of the minerals. The drone slowly made it's way towards the middle, and just when it was about to morph, a sign came up which read

Limp_Bizkit666 was eliminated.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

That sucked a lot.
If I wasn't ignorant enough to tech a little, and expand on the islands, I would have won….well, it's just a game…I think.

Lessons learned:

Just cause you are winning, do not neglect to keep making units and teching. If I had a guardian by any chance, I would have never lost.

Damn flying buildings are annoying. I spent like four minutes searching, while I only found one. It turned out he hid a CC somewhere in the corner.

Ladder is nothing. Stats are nothing. Just cause I lost a sure win game, does not make me stupid…..

*sob *sob, YES IT DOES…. = *(

I WANNA WIN ONCE IN A WHILE!!!!

Enough on my sorry life, tell me about yours, and your comments.

Well, that was fun. Comment like whores, please…
