Well it was 1 in the morning and I had this burning desire to come downstairs play starcraft. So I charge downstairs boot the computer up and enter Battle.net! I decide to play a ladder game to raise my low point score (1005 at the time). I decide on Lost Temple and in comes E6u ( His name isn't E6u but i don't remember exactly what it was, sorry! E6u is the best guess i have ). I tell him i am going random and he says he might. So when the counter reaches almost 0 he quickly changes it to terran (Err little S.o.b)
I start off in the 3o'clock position and he starts off at 9o'clock. I elect to go for a offensive cannon in (Note that i had never done a offensive cannon in before). So i grab 2 zealots and search for him to cannon in the little bugger. Here I must admit i am terrible at recon, I end finding him in the last place I look (Stupid me!).
I reach his natural and to my sudden shock i see a SCV there waiting for any upcoming troops... errr the element of surprise is gone but I stll think i can pull it off. I start a plyon with no attacks... it shocks me that he didn't try to pull anything(Even though this is really early in the game, I thought he had about 10 marnies). I finish the plyon and I back it up with 4 zealots. Now thoughts of Easy win go through my head as Zealots OWN marines! I quickly make to 2 cannons to start the process of offensive cannoning. Suddenly out of no where bats and Vultures storm my 4 zealots. My Cannons weren't ready so they couldn't help my poor zealots out(They fought there best but died)! I took the threat as a defeat and canceled my 2 cannons and thought DT's.
I was worried about him attacking and placed 5 cannons at my choke for safety thinking that wil buy me time to tech up to DT's incase he trys anything. Well he didn't attack to my shock I must add. So i grabbed a dropship and loaded 4 DT's to kill the enemy from behind his peon line. I dropped those 4 evil DT's on his peon line and i went crazy as i started to kill those satan like SCV's. I noticed he had a comsat so
I took it out with ease. SO about this time I was doing the I rock you suck dance. BUT he comsats my DT's while they were taking out his barracks. Ack I though to myself, he expanded to his natural.
Well me being evil and all I send 12 DT's to his natural ASAP..! I saw one vulture and a turret on D... i was like like laughing about how dead he was! Again this little El'Bastard puts one over me again and 12 (YOu heard me right) vulture mines come up and kill all my DT's!
*There was a sudden break for me at this point as i had to swear, I told him i went to the bathroom but we both know i was pulling my hair out =P *
Next attack again was from me as I reaver dropped his peon line again, however I was greeted with some "can do" tanks on seige mode. I managed to save one reaver but this totally ticked me off. I then expanded three times and made 5 stargates cause mines and tanks were starting to make me mad and I didn't want to deal with them!
There was a pause in the game for about 10 minutes. Each of us was worried about our economy. I built up 6 carriers and 6 scouts with 5 cosairs for kicks. I thought at this point... boy is he dead! Suddenly I hear of 10 BC's long range power blat blowing the heck out of my 12o'clock expansion. I engage them with my mighty units! To my shock again after he lost 3 BC's he retreated. Now i hunted them down as they went for safet... I killed them all as they tried to get back to a safe place.
Me: "Hahahahaha"
E6u: "haha, look at your 2 other expansions"
I turned the sound off cause i was lagging and to my shock again i see 12 marines per expansion knocking them out! EVIL was this one, i recalled everything and saved my 2 expansions with little loses except all my poens were dead!
This pissed me off totally! I did some recon and found his third base at 6o'clock and it was killing time. By this time i warped a Arb. and had cloaked carriers and scouts =P.
I attacked it with haste and quickly knocked it out! However in came 10 other BC's * DOn't ask me how he got them some freaking fast * and 17 marines stimmed with medics... this battle was close with me not being the victor
Me: I curse your children for killing my air army
E6u: You'll be cursing more of my family members when you see what I got in store for you.
E6u just did M&M's everyone on the map. I had no money cause i lost all my miners to 2 dropships. I was operating at about 1000 mineral and 3456 gas. I held each wave off with 2 reavers and 5 cannons I had per expansion. I generated about 40,000 quickly but i saw that it was late and E6U was to sharp to take down. GG was all that was left to say!
Lessons learned:
Bats and vultures are the tools of the devil
They ruined my early game attacks * I didn't add it in the report but i attacked many times with zealots and DT's and they were killed by Bats$V's!*
