Hello, I am ExecutorDaanis, a fellow ladder player at a respectable 1073, and a nohunters person. This is my first Battle Report so I hope you enjoy. I was bored today, so I created a game: 1on1 Temple!! This attracted a college big mouth who had about a 100/50/16 record. His name was =FB=Kthulu. I started the melee immediatly after choosing zerg. He quickly says "I should leave, you are probably a tennager." And the game starts.
I started at the 9 o'clock position, appearing as teal, while he took the 12 as a Brown Protoss force. The early game was filled with arguements and insults. He said he would easily beat me, but I had a feeling he would be eating his own words pretty soon. I told him, "Get a job." While he said, "Get a girlfriend." And I replied, "Girlfriends are for people with lives." He then retorted, "Why don't you get one?" I scrunched my face and said, "Lives are for people with girlfriends." During this time, I had spawned an overlord and taken my natural expansion on the 12th or so drone. I then placed a Spawning Pool, and make some quick zerglings for scouting. I found he had already started construction on 2 cannons at his natural/main choke point, along with 8 zealots standing gaurd. I saw this and 3 gateways and hit myself, then quickly threw up about 6 sunken colonies. He had probably taken his natural, and I decided a quick muta rush would do a little damage. But to my awful chagrin, he had six corsairs just waiting for me. I had managed to kill 6 or so probes before the screech of neutron flares came up. He muttered, "Predictable." This was the frist offensive but certainly not the last.
I had a Hydralisk Den quickly constructed, and an Evolution Chamber. He came in with like 10 corsairs annihilating my poor ovies in hit and run tactics. At about this time, I had over 1100 minerals in the bank, so I decided to put up another hatchery in my main, and expand to the 6 o'clock main. This went unnoticed for quite some time, until he busted in killing 3 of my overlords with his still non-upgraded sairs. His 8 zealots from the beginning of the game rushed in and took out my defending zerglings, and proceeded to take out one of my two hatcheries. He succeeded, but his remaining zealots were quickly "danced" to death by my 1/0 hydras. A turbo-newbie-cannon-cheese-drop commenced on my natural ledge in plain sight of one of my overlords. Aproximatly 8 hydras were dropped to kill it, but =FB=Kthulu's corsairs killed one ovie while a hydra was still in it. Poor hydralisk. Poor poor hydralisk. Anyways, I took out the probe and pylon then proceeded to lure his sairs into my 2 spores and hydras using an overlord. This worked perfectly, and all of his now, about 8 corsairs were destroyed.
My resources were at about 3000/2000 now, so I decided to end this game. I put up 2 Hatcheries in my main, a queens nest, and soon a Hive. Queens with broodling soon came out, along with about 50 Hydras equipped with double weapon upgrades. I rallied my troops to his base, and to my surprise quickly destroyed all of his choke defenses. My broodlings popped out of 3 high templar, so ending his last chance of fighting off my attack. Hydralisks tore through his natural nexus, and commenced to pound his main base. I chuckled as he said, "Oh shit, my sound was off, I didn't even notice! You got lucky." I laughed, he disced, I cursed and hit my desk, you know, just like old times.
I chose to BR this game because it shows how "pubies" don't suck like and that college people should get a job instead of playing starcraft all day. Sorry there were no pics, my folder was full, and I was too busy pounding his sorry ass to take any. It was a good game overall, and it was not until the very end (when he disced) that I decided to write it up. Many thanks to =FB=Kthulu for a fun time heh heh heh... |
