Me - Protoss, 12 o'clock, picked
Ape - Protoss, 3 o'clock, randomed
I started off with a 2 gate zealot - dragoons build after I discovered he was toss. During my scouting, I also noticed he had 3 gates and a ton of zeals. I took 6 zeals and clogged my ramp. Then I built a forge and my 3 canons by my choke.
He attacked me and he was demolished by my zeals and canons. I put up a cy core, 3rd gateway, and started pumping goons.
I knew I had a spot with a disadvantage, so I decided to expand to the 9 o'clock position when I had 3 goons. I expanded and secured it with 3 zeals. I built 2 pylons at his exp but no D.
I put up 2 more gates at home and started pumping mucho goons. I also was upgrading my troops. Then all of a sudden, I get reaver popped. It killed all my probes and I DEFINATELY wasn't suspecting it. I built 2 canons and put 2 goons by my mineral line - That wouldn't be happening again.
I decided to see if he expanded to 12. I sent a probe down there, and sure enough, he did. I decided to take 6 zeals and attack it since he didn't have much. I attacked it and killed 3 canons and 4 probes until reavers came to the rescue
FOrtunately, 1 zeal was stuck at his choke and didnt get killed. I'll explain this later. Now, he reaver drops my expansion after he finds it
i fend it off with my 3 zeals, but it is hurting. I bring in 8 goons or something, but he is about to reaver drop again!!! Then, I see my zealot... I go and attack his nexus, it is down to about 600 HP when he aborts the attack to kill the zeal. My goons get there, and the reaver drop is stopped. I also kill his exp.
I put up 2 gates at my exp. I'm pumping mad goons and decide to expand to the top left island. When I go up there, I have about 1500/1500 minerals/gas left, So I decide to go carriers, confident that they will win they game for me. When I put up my starports and got my exp running, I was attacked with 15 carriers. Despite 150 or so control in goons, they all died. I knew I was dead, I conceded and said GG.
Lessons Learned:
1.) Carriers suck. They are flying ultralisks...
2.) Don;t ever play ape, he is good, he will beat you. =)
