Everyone knows C_Time is the best ladder player in the world, of course I use nicks such as XDS Grrr, uh Zileas, and such and such. But since it seems Ive had bad luck lately, I decide to ladder without doing random and instead using my best race . . . Toss
So I decide to mass zealot. Standard build, pylon, gateway gateway, pylon. I scout with the probe after he built the last pylon. I am at 3:00 and I find he is at 9:00. Yahoo[ ]Hero(Gay name) stuffs his choke with zealots,my probe retreats. Now everyone knows that probes are natural drunk. The probe is told to go home but somehow gets stuck in some doodads (???) and got killed by some sober zealots.
Needing some recon I attack with the zealots I have, but he outnumbers me by one zealot, so I retreat knowing it would do no good to loose my veratile warriors. So still needing recon, I warp in a citadal and archives to produce dts. As soon as I had two I charged them towards the enemy ramp, but when I arrive at the ramp Yahoo being gay, filled his ramp with zealots, more than half a dozen dragoons and a shield battery and two cannons.
Amassing zealots with attack +1upgrade, I research psi storm and get three temps. Using amazing micro, I shoot off 3 storms one after the other, killing all his dragoons. My zealots charged up the ramp but due to the fact that my storms killed a couple of my own, only 6 of my 11 zealots survived. I charged into his peon line but saw he had five to six cannons warping in with more dragoons. I back off back to the ramp, but I have to retreat to more dragoons.
While all of this is happening, I amass dragoons and temps. He had nine dragoons and three cannons by the time I reach his ramp again. I had anticipated a reaver drop before so I was more busy placing cannons at my mineral line. Anyways, I sent in my dragoons before my temps to absorb damage. My goons take out all the cannons while my temps go unharrased and kill off all his goons.
I charge up his ramp. Kill everything on top of it and then charge into his main with still 10 goons and two temps. I saw he had like eight cannons now and six goons. I pick at the oddly placed cannons and goons, killing them. I amass zealots again deciding to overwhelm him and his f***ing cannons.
All of the sudden three carriers come into view! FUDGE! eh? Since I was amassing zealots and hated fighting carriers, I surrender since it was brunch time and I was hungry. So if I ever see u again Yahoo hero, rematch, youre ass is mine and GG.
Lessons learned:
1. Storms own, nothing new here.
2. Carriers own too.
3. As protoss mixed units are probably more effective than any other type unlike zerg who can get away usually with mass hydras or mutas.
4. Carriers are gay but always catch youre opponnent off balance.
5. To get a battle report with a rating better than 2, spend more than 5 minutes on it or sleep with YRM.
