Killing Rushers

*****

MAP:(8)The Hunters (I didnt make it)
.Lazer.™ - terran - lower middle
']['amaraw - terran - upper left
VS
QuiGon - terran - middle left
re - zerg - bottom right

The Rush

I do my normal build while thinking of the strat that I'm gonna use. Me and my ally scout around of course. Then before
my any of my marines comes out, the look-outs of my base spot an overlord passing through my newly accessed base.
My commanders suggest me to make a bunker in case of a possible rush. I accept the suggestion and thankfully, my
commanders were right but the aliens are smarter that usual. This cerebrate goes around my bunker with his zerglings
and then attack my almost defenseless SCVs. The SCVs run around the only building they can see to buy time. My first
marine comes and i shoot at 1 zergling hoping to get their attention, I do get it and run to the empty bunker. I kill all the
alien life forms in my base but now humans are invading me, i get two more marines and chase hm off. src="http://lazer.htmlplanet.com/pic1.jpg" align="right">
Containment and Last Hopes

After my SCVs clean up the place, me and my ally talk about what to do. We decide to double team color="red">QuiGon

. What we didnt know is that QuiGon had 6 marines in color="purple">']['amaraw's base. I see him in the mini-map and warn my ally, he kills the 6 marines and the single
SCV trying to make a bunker. We then both send our marines to the middle and ']['amaraw's
medics there too. I go a bit too far and loose one marine to the forces of QuiGon. Making more
marines in my base, we charge all our available forces to the base of QuiGon. color="orange">re desperately helps with zerglings which didn't do much. QuiGon
thinking fast, lifts his buildings off and flies to different directions. Seeing this, I order my men to shoot the most important
structure of the mighty terran, the command center. Most of
his survivors didn't survive for long, for he did fly to different directions but...flew them where I was currently creating an
expansion, lower-left. Spotting the big flying structures, I shoot them down. My ally contains color="orange">re with tanks and bunkers, with me helping a little. I then hear sirens in my base, 4 lurkers were
killing everything they see. I call my ally to come and help. I once again make another expansion, this time to the
top-middle. After a while of silence, a lieutenant comes running towards me. "Sir! our newly established expansion is
being attacked by enemy terrans". I look in our maps and do see red spots in my lower-left expansion. After calling my
ally, the red spots get disappear and replaced by purple spots. After my SCVs confirm their jobs done in the top-right, I
make 2 starports and some supply depots there. With my budget still going down, re drops
hydralisks into my main base. I hold them long enough until my ally comes to save me (again). I send an SCV to the
middle of the map and make another base. Making 12 wraiths in my top base, I move them to our containing forces. I get
droppped again but this time, they were not easily stopped. I let my main go to waste but color="purple">']['amaraw still saves my old and wrecked base.
Death to the Cerebrate

Still hoping, re bulds guardians and tries to break out of his base. Seeing this happen, my
wraith commanders shoot to kill. With big smiles in their
faces, they cover my only tank which still gets killed. Mad, the wraiths harass the alien invaders. The old Overmind then
orders the cerebrate re to surrender. With no other hope, he follows the Overmind.

***Lessons Learned***

1. In 2v2s, double rushing is better than seperate attacks.
2. Having a good ally can get you a victory.
3. Making lots of expansions pay off.
