The minute I saw Mark take a third expansion, I knew the game was over.
Come to think of it, I don't believe I've ever seen Mark get hit early in any BR I've read or written about him. Go figure.
Must be the .357 and the hand to hand combat training that intimidates all your opponents.

The funniest part of this report was win he said "it was a close game".
When was it close? At the 5 minute mark?
Every time I play mark, PvT I get owned as well. I think they key to beating mark is to be insanely aggressive the entire game.
If you just sit back and don't attack, he'll have double your resource intake in no time and it will be over.
Dtemps are a bitch though. It's hard to attack early protoss expansions with those guys hanging around, and not having enough detection. |

Whee, Protoss kills Terran again.
Oh, btw, I sorta have switched over to the dark side and haven't played Terran or Zerg much lately in favor of beefing up my Protoss game. All I do is make more gateways and mixed Protoss ground and I win a lot. :)
I have killed 27 straight newbies as Protoss in vanilla! :P |

| I'll give you a little secret info on this game later Johnny =]. When I played Desoto he kept the pressure on me all game, starting with a early marine rush that had me running my probes away to wait for the dtemp to pop out, and turbo newbie on my second expansions cliff. The only thing that let me win that one was the extra 4 expansions I had and some carrier/arbiter/templar tricks. |

ok, that's my real n.net nick if u want to contact me. also, ghost owned me with heavy metal terran, mostly cuz of imbalance!!! u see, after gateway u get a cyber core, but after barracks u get a factory which means you'll have to fend of vultures and tanks with zeals and goons! vultures own zlots and tanks own goons. but, if u have zlots attack tanks with goons attack vultures, u might be ok. like this:
tank attack goons
vultures attack zlots
zlots attack tanks
goons attack vultures
that way everything is attacking what they counter best. the terran will still win so u have to use the most least-used weapon....SHIELD Batteries, until u tech and get better units. |

I've discovered the key to beating Mark4's Protoss with my Terran. It's really quite simple.
Find out his address, and about twenty minutes before the game, check his hometown info out and get about five different pizza places to deliver extra anchovies to his house.
With any luck, he'll have to pause every five minutes to go answer the door for the pizza guy. Between that and the sight and scent of fish on pizza, it might throw him off enough for you to run him over. |
