Ok, heres the deal with comps. they keep coming hard. So i make a forge then stuff my choke, leaving room for men. Once tyou have a fleet of carriers/BCs or upgrades goons and stuff, it's easy. I attack rigfht afer they attack and waste themselves on cannons. When you reach the base, they have no defenses. Nive BR. I give it a 7.

Good BR but bad title. I didn't see anything about actual micromanagment (except for picking up the SCV's). When Someone says micromanagement to me i think dancing goons etc. (in other words stuff i need to do better). Personally comps are nice for some practice but playing humans provides more learning (and assholes, frustrations etc.)

What the heck? A 4.0? Come on, I got a 5.0 on my last one and I put half the effort into it. All the links work, it looks nice and is well written? This doesn't make sense.

Do you right a BR for every game you play or something?

4.0 seems pretty harsh. I though it was a very good BR.

Other than the fact that it was vs comps, i liked it. It defiently doesnt deserve a 4. oh well

I gave this a 6.0, and here's why:
1 - It was fairly easy to read and follow.
2 - Intangible factor is improvement over recent offerings.
3 - Use of HTML added slightly to my interest.
4 - It couldn't be rated too high, because computers are predictable and easy to beat (the battle itself wasn't gripping to me). Just turtle a bit and let them beat themselves to death on your wall. In fact, you could have beaten them both just by attacking their hatcheries with an early worker, and running from their entire horde of workers that chase. The AI is very predictable.
I remember the days when I played for a horde of top level capitol ships to kill computers... anyway, I appreciated the effort here. |

Additionally... the improvement shown is what got this report a bonus point from me. I think people look at the top writers like Mark4, Cattlebruiser, Heartcutter, .Praetor, and Vegas with a bit more of a critical eye, and it seems like its expotentially harder to increase your rating for each number over 7.0.

Computers used to be the hardest things for me, than last night I had 2 vs. 2 against Mylife4hire and bob and well, the short lived games reminded me that AI is fairly easy to win against.

comps are sooo easy. lure their workers with a worker and rush them. they dead. lure them into photons, turrets, etc. attack with a balanced force and their dead. or rush the shit out of them. ihave a saved game against a comp on Lost Temple where i have 4 exps and he has 3. i have just about every unit in this HUGE force. like 50 goons, 12 zeals, 20 loaded reavers, archons, scouts, corasirs, everything except Dark Archons and Carriers. of course, i could have mass carriers going with 4 expsand fleet beacon and like 7 stargates. i had around 6 stargates. in other words, comps suck
