| Good report. A little more descriptive title wouln't have hurt, but good report, well written. In a situation where I am pressed by carriers I go hard hydras, defilers, and cracklings for tearing down buildings. I plague once, then swarm my hydras. He is forced to run, and when his carriers turn I sick a few scourges on them. It only takes two to killa plagued carrier. Swarm everything. If all your hydras die and he is pounding buildings, swarm the buildings for protection. Swarm his entire base and send in cracklings. Swarm everything. Hotkey a hatch and set the rally point on one of your defilers. Then if your defilers need food just make some lings with the hatch, and the lings will follow the defiler. I play a lot of vanilla challenger, so carriers are an old sight. Also, if an opponent knows for sure you are double hatching, you may want to switch strats or stick the hatch at your ramp and sunken up. Losing a hatch can seriously hurt you early game. Sorry I am so long winded, I am far from good, but just my 2 cents. |

| Well i would have sunkened up but this was the only strat i knew of zerg :( and i was afraid to switch because it was something new to me. oh well i know alot more now. |

| Good game! Title does need work.... I've never been able to use swarm and hydras well vs carriers.. =(. I DO know that swarm doesn't work to protect buildings. You can swarm your spores and sunkens all you want, those scouts and carriers will take em down anyway. |

Really .praetor? oops, my mistake. Now I am ashamed. I just assumed that you could swarm a hive or something to keep it safe from air. At the least, you could swarm peons, protect from raids. Whew, salvaged a little dignity with that idea.
Unless it doesn't work on peons. |
