| wow. is having 1 probe (earlyish mid game but when you're cranking zeals/goons out of 2-3 gates) standing around somewhere just for building pylons a good idea? And maybe 1-2 for terrans just making depots? |

| well i am big into reading all of whoops battlereports.. cause they rock!! anyways i personally like to take my natural on temple.. it's easier to defend =] especially vs a terran.. but that's my opinion. |

Ahscar, the last 3 games i've played vs. terran, i've taken my natural, and gotton nailed with the cliff-seige of doom.
How'd you got about defending it??

ok, on temple, if i'm doing terran vs terran then i'm usually all up on their cliff while mine is nicely turreted.
In my toss vs a terran I always get fast shuttles anyways... it's something that i put into my bo cause i expect a drop so i usually psi the infantry and drop some zealts.
In my zerg vs terran im always either going mutes/gaurds or mad drops so I usually have the cliff's covered.
some bad things about taking another main is the fact that the opponent can attack it easier than your natural.. especially on temple, cause they can drop a main base just as easily as a cliff. Plus as a terran, I like to siege a toss inside his main and then move another force to his exp.
Anyways that's just the way I am used to doing it.. people have their preferences =] |

| i also think taking your natural is a better idea, mainly because you can support it with troops from your main a lot quicker. as toss i usually warp in a pylon and a couple cannons on the high ground above the minerals, that usually takes care of any drop, at least long enough for me to send support. anyway nice report whoop. |

| not only because i want to b different, but i like taking the second naturals first sometimes. with zerg it's nice to nydus there especially if you're powering. that way it's much more difficult to bottle your swarms inside a main/natural. the other thing is a strat like o bunkering or cannoning wont be able to contain if you can walk your troops around the other side of the middle. and if they do try to cannon the entire middle, get lots of screenshots of your 3 guardians or tanks razing hundreds of cannons. hehe oh and whatever you do don't listne to me because i sux. btw jsut so were all clear i have multiple IP addresses, i'm jsut that cool.... |
