I remember playing this at my friend's house a long time ago. Back in Elementary School or Middle School. Fun times. I do think you need a tad more humor, the stuff you're throwing out is somewhat dry.

blocks of large white text on a black background is a bit maddox-ish for me. i used to hate reading maddox's site =/. try some css for aesthetics; it'll make reading even easier and your rating skyrocket.
but a good, educational report on a piece of nostalgia, it's tough writing about playing through a platformer, especially one that many of the newer generation probably never heard of. though, don't dwell on small stuff like what health bars are. |

- when you find yourself writing things like "not that you needed to know that :P," chances are good that we didn't need to know it! :-) take things like that out of the report entirely so it flows a little better. read over your report and ask yourself if something is necessary to either understand the report or the game. if it isn't, yank it out.
- the coding was good. you might want to try to put a little more padding around your images so it looks cleaner.
- while i definitely like how you reported a unique game, hack-and-slash games tend to be boring battlereports. it turns into a formulaic "i killed this zombie, i collected this. i killed the next zombie." etc etc. either jazz it up with some interesting writing or pick a more in-depth game to report on.
