I enjoyed the report! Great writing besides a few spelling errors but I'm not one to complain too much about that. Since it was an FFA, I'm glad you stuck to just reporting the battles and not too much on bases etc. Great stuff! Loved the pictures!

okay so I skimmed through and this looks fucking awesome. Probably the best StarCraft report of the year (and I realize that isn't much of a compliment since it's just been Psy spamming the viewreports section, but still). Looks like an easy 9 due to the great writing, cool layout and surprisingly vivid collages.
For an even higher rating, I would have added more personal touches - like my finger dangling over the alliance button (which it was, as I saw you trying to flank my fleet with your scouts) - or screenshots of what we were all saying (although I realize we don't have penguin anymore).
Anyway, please write more, and fast. I already included three quotes from this br in the quotes section. Good stuff! |

Gave it a 7. Good to see some old friends still playing, i should come and ffa with you guys again.
There's obviously a lot of work put into this report and most of my gripes are about the visuals. It felt like some parts where overloaded with screenshots while others where just huge blocks of bold text. (like the text between the last two images). The color scheme was just horrible, i'd rather see white on black than blue on gold and the border on the images was way bright. Also please color code the names of the players and provide a (clearer) map of their starting positions.
Otherwise good report, just could use a bit of gloss on the presentation side. |

Pros:
- great game, kept me interested even though it was pretty gay. I guess gay things tend to keep my interest.
- some of your pictures turned out a lot better than they looked at first, which is probably why I rated up from an 8.
- I am a huge fan of minimaps, especially in large FFAs, and the fact that every single one of your collages had one excited me very much. Still excites me, in fact.
- the writing was good and I followed it relatively well, a large feat considering that it was such a big game. On the other hand, I had read it before (and quite thoroughly) so it's kind of hard to judge how easy it was to follow when you've read it several times.
Cons:
- I still hate the color scheme. I liked the other one more that you had settled on that didn't have that ridiculous purplish background. Next time I would go with something more tried and true rather than trying to make something unique.
- some of the pictures looked funky, like the "3 battles" collage. The text on that one could have been better, and you know it :P. Some of them were blocky and unrefined, but I couldn't really bring myself to rate you down because of it, though, since I know that you don't have any kind of graphics editor.
- I didn't really like your choice of font... something a bit smaller, maybe, would be better. |

Again, I liked the report. Good humor and writing. The color scheme wasn't great but it didn't bother me either but everybody has a different idea on that. Honestly, I can't not rate this anything but a 9. *If I could rate* I think you could haven gotten a perfect 10 if grammar and spelling were more refined but I can't really rag on you for that since my reports are horrid.
I laugh every time I read the "Deconic_wakme Confederation." Yeah. I read your report again. Sue me. |

I think you should have focused more on the absurdity of me building a naked base right in the middle of Ashwin's terriroy. I just did that as a joke really, and when he saw it, he was like "wtf?"
Awesome good report overall. The game is wonderfully absurd, of course. =] |

The color scheme really bothered me (and the bold text, which drives me to the padded wall rooms), but the overwhelming commentary on the quality of the game saves it.

This had me laughing, "Ashwin claimed to be too honorable for such a treaty." Mainly because at first I thought, "Who in the hell would refuse to ally in an NH FFA?" And, then, afterwards, I realized that I don't think I've EVER seen DD ally in an FFA. Coincidentally, I don't think I've EVER seen DD win an FFA. Oh sure, there was that one time that he would have won if Ling hadn't been gay, but close only counts in horseshoes and buttsex.
Anyway, I just had to make fun of the Indian cause he's not around to defend himself. Moving on. |

About the formatting scheme: Ok, I know I tend to try new schemes with pretty much all of my reports, so I feel what you're trying to do, but I'm not digging this one. The colors might have been alright if the text wasn't so big. It just feels really clunky and hard to follow to me.
I may be in the minority here, but I really think in a big FFA report it helps heaps to color code the names. Maybe I'm just dumb (possible) but I really think it helps the reader to follow along. |

Maybe I'm the minority, here, too, but I'm really not liking that black background you've got on a couple of the pics I've seen so far. It just looks really weird to me. The pics look fine, not like I'd really know if they didn't, but that background just seems off.
On the bright side, that bit about DD harvesting your ass was great. Watch out for the gay Indian, man. |

A very nice report, despite those things I pointed out.
The writing was quite nice. It described the action well, and it wasn't overly wordy. I did notice quite a few grammatical mistakes, several of which irked me, but I spent most of yesterday proofreading stuff so I'm feeling anal (kinda like badme after the game, no doubt.)
The images, except for the background on those ones I mentioned, I thought were really good. They showed the action, and they weren't too big.
The "Deconic_wakme Confederation" had me rolling. I don't know why, I think I need help. I laughed in several places, and I don't remember thinking any humor seemed forced, which is a very good thing.
I thought this was a really good report, and now I wish I had read it before mattz's. Oh well, I'm fairly confident I would have rated you the same either way, since my main qualms were with the formatting and the, few, writing "mistakes." Giving it an 8, a high 8. |
