Wohoa, this thing's pretty massive. Probably gonna have to take this in installments, things being as busy as they are for me right now. Hopefully somebody out there has more free time than me and can get to reading this thing ASAP.
And, btw, thanks for writing something. :) |

With the lack of activity lately, I'd despaired of seeing all the nice, incomplete, series finished. Unfortunately, I'm a little tied up at the moment and can't dig into the fourth volume of your DX reports :( I promise to read when I have time.
Hopefully your contributions will bring some readership out of hiding. |

Yeah, that would be nice....
...but but if some more writes could blink back to action, it would be even more fun! Ok, no need to do the warden, trotting like a mountain giant is fine too. |

A rater needing about a minute to remember his password is quite a statement for site activity... ;)
Well, I know that it's close to spamming what I do here... but I have a great target... reaching the 20 coments frontier with a report... I feel like breaking the sound barrier. |

I liked it. =p I would have read it sooner but I was out camping for a PS3 which I am now selling for $1800 if your interested. =)
Great writing but sometimes the structure was odd, or words were reversed. I would have to look back to double check when and where but I'm sure Maareek or Lucky will do that. A soild 7, 7.5. Keep writing buddy! |

| Great report. I haven't forgotten about my report, I need to get the second part edited (have someone check it for errors) then I'll hopefully have it done by end of next week (during thanksgiving break) |

I finally fixed to dreaded font bug in my reports... causing major fomating problems if the Arial Rounded MT Bold font was not present on the readers computer. Now it switches to Arial Black, which still has minor issues with text jumping under some images where it shouldn't. But maybe I'm able to solve that too, we'll see.
@ Psyonic: I hope that solves your problem...
@ Rabid: Cool, I really liked the first installment... |

Ah, it was nice to be updated on JC's adventures. Hard to believe that after these four huge reports, we're still at the "beginning" of the game.
As usual, some minor language problems -- that didn't at all interfere with understanding -- but we'll cut you some slack since you're not a native speaker, and you obviously put massive effort into this. I liked the way you organised the writing. It wasn't over-wordy, saying what needed to be said, describing the action and advancing the plot as necessary.
Overall, the pictures were good too. The environment/location pics helped set the mood for those of us who haven't played DX. And most of the fight scenes were pretty entertaining (you know we love those crotch shots). The exception would be things like "12 20labsurprise.jpg", where we've got screenshots of JC aiming, and the end results, but none of the action in between. The picture would have been so much more powerful if you'd snapped it with a muzzle flash or the victims in the act of falling down dead. I know, hard to do in a first-person shooter...
But, like I said, excellent overall. Thanks for taking the time to contribute.
Oh, regarding your question... do you mean "Illuminati"? |

Oh, for me the "beginning" allready ended with being captured in New York. With chapter 12 the tides are turning and we are finally able to fight MJ12.
You know, I did those croth shots exclusively for you...
So remember, everybody else! You are NOT allowed to look at these pics until you've got a written premission from NewbEye!
Believe me, I always try to capture the muzzle. But even when I press the button right after firing, it's to late sometimes. In addition, even I am sometimes surprised by the foes and struggle to keep the upper hand, forgeting to capture at all... I promise to do my best in the future to get you better fight images. (I wasn't ulimatly happy with them myself...)
Thanks for the spelling info, I'll add it tomorrow... |

Lucky NOOOO! Now we are not only lacking reports and readers but also raters...
Why not hiring a fulltime rater for BR.com... I would do it... Well... who would not!!!
Alternatively you could have an automatic bot do the rating...
Lol, Brave new World...
Hey, impressive language knowledge Mr. "Psyotic Cleaver"... What language is "Fea" btw? I don't reconize it...
Oh, and thanks for that nine rating!!! :) |

| Whoa, long time since I came to BR.com. Very nice report though! Read through all installments in an hour or two, and despite a few spelling errors it was easy to understand and well written. Good job, sir. |

I haven't been to this site in a long time. I'm glad to see that it's still running (unlike some of my other childhood sites).
This was an awesome game. I think it's a bit of a shame that you're taking an all-out gung ho approach to the game. For me, what made it great was all the parts where you didn't shoot up enemies, talking to different people, solving sidequests and issues, realizing how something small you did in the past affects your situation in a later level etc. ALOT of this is not in this report, and I understand why, action is alot more exciting on screenshots and to read about, but I recommend everybody check the game out. This report didn't even tap the surface of the possiblities in Hong Kong...
Anyway, I think it's a good report. Afterall, this approach to the game is just as valid as any other - that is the point of it. What would be really sweet would be if you wrote another one after this, with a different approach! Because obviously, this one wasn't enough work ;). |
