Newbeye returns!! If only I had time to read this now.
I recall reading the last one on a four hour flight, it was quite good. |

| That was a freaking long br. I give it an 8 for, like, being long and entertaining and stuff, plus the random surprise (?) ending, and oh, whatever. |

A nice political satire report. The beginning and middle of the report was fun, but towards the end it was more of a slog through it. Enemy comes, gets killed, move on. Your writing style changed more toward mostly combat description from satire during this period too.
The end was... interesting.
I'll give it an 8. Would've given it a 9 if it ended stronger. |

Glad you're enjoying it. I'm surprised I haven't managed to offend anyone yet. Isn't anyone out there a... ahem... fan of his? -_-
Thanks for the feedback, Who'sGotLag. Upon reviewing the last two chapters I agree -- most of the narrative there could've been removed without any loss to the storyline, and I could've stuck the jokes into other parts of the report. Something to keep in mind for the next project. |

There are a lot fans of him out there. But no on this site! Battlereports are for intelligent people...
PS.: Where is the gardener cutting that "plant" away? |

I am a fan of his, as it happens (at least compared to some other political leaders in the US today), but I still enjoyed your report. The one problem was that the epic descriptions of battles did not fit in very well with the satire.

"Many klackon parents have often asked me if our children is learning"
Don't know if that was intentional, but it made me laugh out loud :p
Hmm good report, I enjoyed it very much. It got somewhat boring near the end, but the writing and humour was good. I say 9. |

Any report where a modern day president summons Jesus to conquer hobbits in the name of insects is quite necessarily a good one.
I have to echo zip_disk on this one, up until "operation enduring freedom" it was sheer brilliant. I loved the introduction, the comedy, just about everything.
Then it read like a different report: "Jaer" joining Cheyney and HeyZeus just seemed out of touch. The last chapter came the closest to the beginning narrative. Still, it was quite enjoyable to read, if not as great as your first one (then again, it's hard to trump a perfect ten).
So, I'll give this a 8.6 rounded to a 9. |

I liked it very much indeed. As both a MoM fanatic and someone who's political leanings mesh well with the report... hehe it was great fun man!
Unusual MoM strategy though, I might try that, looks very easy. I usually try and pick the most difficult and ineffective wizard/magic/race combos to make the game a bit challenging. But the hero storyline lends itself superbly to the report. |
