Inaccurate and on the 1st SP mission. Anyone who plays DoW knows what a cakewalk early SP is, but anyway this is kinda fanfiction.
Space Marine description could have been more, they aren't just tall and biologically altered. Secondary heart, artificial implants, their power armor. They survive horrendous wounds that can kill a normal human several times over, sometimes even going into suspended animation to survive fatal wounds.

Actually i felt the marine was very likely to survive. And armor in Warhammer 40k is extremely effective.

I'm thinking yes, yes it could.
Servitors are not brain washed slave workers. They are lobotomised slave workers, made more machine than human.
Worse thing was the personalities, characters just don't feel right. Little things such as Gabriel and Isador joking and laughing in their conversation. They wouldn't. Space Marines spend 20 hour training daily(they hardly need sleep cos' of enhancements), elite warrior monks of the Imperium. Space marrines from starcraft are wimps in comparison They wouldn't be so jovial even against any easy fight against the orks. Gabriel is more likely to refer to other marines as Brother, Brother Mateo, etc, than by their rank. Also Space Marine Chapters are proud and more likely to refer to themselves by their chapter, not just as space marines.
And why were they having so much trouble against the orks? Sending scouts, who were also having trouble scouting? The orks still weren't organised to fight the Blood Ravens. It should be no challenge to the Blood Ravens. Plus they were still trying to save scattered Tarturus troops, makes more sense if they handled the ork resistance quickly and easily.
The pics weren't very good. Not important for a fanfiction, but you might as well take good ones.
Bump up the graphics in options.
To the local file add:

Add -dev to the startup exe file.
When taking shots, enter console(CTRL+SHIFT+~) and use taskbar_hide, taskbar_show, message_hide, message_show. Pause key will pause for you to get a good angle.

In the Imperium, Space Marines are regarded as nearly legendary warriors, consecrated to fight in the Emperors name, and genetically modified to be the ultimate fighting machine. They are DEMI-GODS.
Second off, a Chapter is EXACTLY 1000 men, since the larger Legions were broke up after Horus's betrayel of the Emperor. More then that in a Chapter is banned by the Lords of Terra.
Gretchen are aren't orks, they are a different species.
Your portrayel of Space Marine thinking and speech habits is WAY off. They're almost casual in your story, while in actuality they're highly formal. A librarian, for example, is revered by his chapter.
Scouts are Space Marines in-training, and so have many of the genetic modifications. They wouldn't be breathless after a little run. Also, almost every ork party has a nob- that's just the name for the leader of a war party. A WARBOSS is something special.
Overall, this report is crap. If you're going to make a Warhammer 40k fanfiction, get the details right, or us fans will stomp on you.
Dawn of War is nice, but having a working knowledge of the background is better.
I haven't even played Warhammer 40k in.. ever, but I used to read White Dwarf constantly >_<

This wasn't a great report overall. Not terribly wrong grammatically but bad writing. That combined with the single player campaign game itself didn't make much of a report.
The fictionalization part feels like you melded a bunch of war movie cliches with a lack of deep understanding of the storyline. I personally don't know the background but just reading this report I pretty much knew that it didn't sound right.
As for the game itself there was nothing really interesting about the first game of this single player campaign. It sounds more like an acclimation to the storyline and gameplay rather than any difficulty in completing.
The fact that your grammar wasn't terrible is the only reason this report isn't getting a bronze. 4. |

Space Marine Chapters are generally 1000, not always.
An extreme example would be the Black Templar which, in their codex, mention that they are nearly a legion in size! |
