I realize that I take a giant risk in destroying an imaginative young mind, but I feel obliged to put an end to this before it matures into something else, something worse, and in volumes.
This, maar, was absolute crap. We've all done stuff like this, sadly, so don't feel too bad. At least there was a time when I was fifteen and wrote romantic and almost childish fiction about wars in my mind.
The characters were unbelievable, the dialogue was painful, the setting very vague, the plot boring. You take this risk in the creative process, writing fiction is different than writing a battlereport. It's hard to make a battlereport this bad, if you manage to cover everything.
Just say no to war fiction.
