Don't worry, I always forget defilers too. To alleviate this problem, I put up a big sign that says "Defilers after Hive!!!" There really isn't any reason why you SHOULDN'T get a few of them.

People usually don't think to plague other Zerg because they regenerate, but I like too because no repair and no shields. Just attack really soon after the plague. Muta's ricocheing (sp?) attacks work wonders against plagued guys.
