Well I enjoyed it. Plus I got a mention in the alt-text. Whoo-hoo! I'm going to tell you a deep, dark secret now. I don't know what any of the balance changes are after 1.08. I say this because I thought reavers were good against ground as long as they had a meatshield (look at the two uses this game), and mutas are not a bad idea vs reavers.
Seems like if zerg could have assassinated the reavers with mutas, his lings would own dragoons. But I digress. I really wanted to know where the zerg troop count was. Too few hatcheries? Too much invested in his exp? I was kind of surprised the Protoss didn't exp earlier, what with it being protected and all.
Anyway, I gave it an 8. |

Well, with Squall's last change to mutas it was a poor decision. He had 5 hatcheries, 3 at his main. Almost all of his troops died at the bridges so he was having to pump units from his 3 in his main while trying to get his 2 expos up. With the huge amount of goons outside his main, not to mention the corsair, it would've been almost impossible to take out the reavers with mutas. But muta-ling would have been the correct way to go early on.
Woo-hoo an 8! The fact that Strafe didn't expand earlier surprised me too, but I honestly believe he was showing off this game. |

Of course, if I was 1-0 on somebody in a tourney and I owned them pretty good the first game, I might try something like that in the second. I think that's basically what he was doing. |

| Eh, well, i really don't think )tot(strafe was doing stuff THAT unusual...vs ling/lurk/hydra, goons tear hydra and lurk up, so all you need is the reav for the lings. True, storm/arch/goon/zeal is more traditional, but goon/lurk really tears stuff up fast. Also because of lurks, robo fact + obs, reaver is easier to get. |

| All I know, proxy, is that in ZvP the few times I have seen people go goon/reaver, I just switched to muta-ling and raped the mineral line. It seems pretty weak to me, considering how easily zerg can switch tech trees on you. But, if they keep going hydra/ling/lurk I suppose you're right. |

Nice! I enjoyed this report just as much as your first report, maybe even more so.
I'm glad you took my advice on the "no boring pictures" thing. All the shots were just gore and action. Great improvement.

hehe I'm glad your back with your old team man. Yeah, they're tearing wgtour up, as they should be. And, BulletSponge, when I was going over my pics for this report I remembered the advice on only action and gore pics ;). Plus, this way, I saved mental anquish over alt-text.

I didn't mention goons because they slipped my mind, no omission was intended. An early stargate signals a corsair rush.

| Alt text is supposed to be text that shows up when you mouse over the pic or in the pic box if it doesn't show up, it still pops up when you mouse over, though. I have no idea why the pics won't show :( |
