I have no idea. What tags are you using? You could probably get by with <p> and </p> tags, then otherwise regular english syntax. I saw a few grammar mistakes in the first one, but have no idea about the second.
All in all, a good quick read. I came out of it with a sense of mild satisfaction, and the story,although shot, was ok. While I don't think this merits gold, I give you a nod. Work on your writing and html, and stuff like this will be a nice new tangent. |

Whatever you did, it didn't work. You don't need html at all. You have no background, not font, no pictures, no color, etc. If you just write it in word, then copy/paste it into br.com and choose the "replace my tags with newline tags" or whatever option it will leave your apostrophes and such in without you having to use any html at all.
As far as your story goes, it's not really believeable. I don't know where you're from, but up here in Minnesota, people don't start hanging around with losers so that they can give them free weed. It just doesn't seem plausible.

Good God... what text editor would do that? By the way, ASCII is the special characters you can type if you know the right ASCII code, like trademark signs and Greek letters. I'll leave it up to someone else who knows it better to explain.
Try using Notepad and editing it manually (also a good idea in general, as spell and grammar check is positively crappy). It won't screw you over like that. |

Chris, although harsh, is usually on track with his comments. He is concise and to the point. When the report is good he says so, when it is bad he says so. We can't criticize people for their personal grading systems.
As said not long ago, BR.com is set up so people can have their say. Does it matter is it's not constructive? No. I am so very sick of people getting into arguments because they don't like a comment about the report that they've put a lot of work into. If the comments are helpful then all is good, you can improve for your next piece. If any particular comment doesn't help you out at all then just leave it be. Stop the bitching over trivial "It sucked" comments. |
