Desert demon, this report was mucho sexy. My only complaints are that there are not minimaps, no color coded players, the game wasn't the greatest (still pretty good). You could beef up the intro a bit, and maybe a bit of humour in the writing (I shouldn't say that, my writing is bleh). There were many good things too, don't be discouraged. The writing kept me informed and on the topic, the pictures were the bomb. I loved how you use "the stuff", like I dunno,
"he stormed a portion of the probes." this is a lot like my writing. |

Also next time you should make the title in a large picture going across the top, and spend more time to introduce the players, races, etc. you did explain them, but next time include a minimap with them. You are certainly growing fast. Start to develop your style and finally, its always good to have a logo!

Hmm, pics weren't bad, like the format, and that you kept it going throughout.
The only real problem (tho its somewhat serious) is the writing.
This was just reading a replay. There was nothing to make this stand out writing-wise, and it was terribly dry.
As such, I couldn't really enjoy it, no matter how hard I tried.

Demon, when writing your report, think about humor. A replay is a battle report before it's been infused with humor. When your writing, try and think of a way to make this funny. Don't use a string of crappy jokes, but try to find a way to add humor to what your telling about. But don't just copy someone else's humor usage. Just keep writing, keep humor in mind, and you'll develop your own writing style.

Note: i have never done a battle report, but im a pretty good critic, a good hater (check out sabotages "Clash of the Newbs 3", starting w/ comment 64/65, i cant remember where i started), and im also a good player, so i know what to look for. don't tell every single move of the players, just highlights.
