It's pretty simple. You both start the game and deploy. Then you both send ten seconds worth of orders to the central server. The server determines how the ten seconds went, then sends the results back. You both send in the next ten seconds etc.
The key thing is anticipating what your opponent will do, and taking advantage of it. You can set your guys to stop and shoot on seeing the enemy, keep running, perform 3 secs of running, then stop and look for targets etc. |

| Yah wwff, That's what turned me onto it. But I loved all the xcom games, and I have great memories of playing the original Laser Squad back in college in 93 or so. That was the first game I won money at, I had a $10 pool for a tournament of all the guys on the floor at my dorm room, and I was the eventual champion =]. So when I saw that, I surfed over the LSN quicker than T_Mac molests little boys. |

| its a little bit like warhammer, just that both people go at the same time. but it would be really easy to do in warhammer by having a middle party act as the main server thing and hear both ppl's orders and then let them do it. |
