The pics did nothing for me (I just stopped downloading them) but writing and very interesting games kept me going easily. PvT is such a tense matchup and the games here described it perfectly. Nice strategic comments etc. too.

i agree with the rater, u should not just comment or worse rate a report when u havent even bothered to read it!!!! e.g. The_nut., i mean how is it possible for u to even consider rating this and giving this a 7??? for what reason? The pictures loaded within seconds for me and the people I had tested it on.
As for the pic style, I know its not exactly the norm but I was going for functionality over form. To me there is exactly 0 point in having pretty pictures. If I'm going to have pictures at all it's so that you can get a visual representation of what's actually happening in the battles. Fancy collages of tiny close up shots of units dying, storms flying around, and the odd tank firing is 100% useless. I made my pictures 640 width and tall enough to see everything that was happening on purpose. |

I really enjoyed the writing in this report. It had such a good flow to it i forgot i was reading it, if that makes any sense. great job on that.

I agree that you don't need any fancy pictures, but the pictures you used, and perhaps most importantly where you put them didn't really add much to this report. It was like a basic alternative to reading it. Like someone else said, I was kind've just skimming them to get to the wrting which was more than capable of describing the action.
So maybe instead of slapping a repeat of the same action on the end you could supplement the writing with the pictures piece by piece like most other reports? It seems to be the best method for combining them.
Again though, you have such a smooth writing style. And a good tactical mindset. Hope to see more from you. |

| Whoa, I usually don't leave many comments on reports anymore, but this one was really nice. Pictures weren't the strong point in this report, but the text was well written. I think the 9 was well deserved. O yea, to the-nut, don't rate a report based on pictures. And anathema, remember that a lot of new people here can write reports just as well as old skoolers. Just cuz you've been here longer, doesn't mean you know what an "incredible" report is. I sort of agree with lamejoker, for a 10 this report would need better pictures. But whatever. |

Good stuff dude, I haven't visited this site in forever b/c War3 is BORING. Same stuff happens every game. Anyhow great stuff, also whatever happened to people like Confessor posting great gamei replays. Seems like people here only post replays about hacking anymore. I miss the BR.com that exisited before the daggon WC3.
Anyhow glad to see good players, the farthest I ever got on gamei was 1200. I don't play there any more because my hard drive got formatted and i don't remember where to get directions for english speaking people to sign up/ dl it.

Great report you done there, however you seem to have posted way too many pictures (It would be better if you combined some into a single slideshow in .jpeg format, and removed the screen capture messages, those were pretty annoying)
Otherwise, this was an extremely well written report, albeit a big long.

I haven't rated in forever. To many pics. Napo you should try to use animated gifs in some ways to condence it overall. Keep text around the pics most of the time. It was like looking at a weak version of a replay at times ;)

I think a lot of people think that for a picture to be good it has to be appealing to the eye. This is one of the only reports where the pictures were actually showing something useful, reinforcement of the writing. I also didn't need instructions on which picture to go to next as seems to be a pet love of some collage makers.
The report loaded in seconds for me too. I liked your writing style and your pictures. What’s with complaining about the report length?? It is long when compared to the standard report length but it's not too long that just thinking about reading it overwhelms you. C'mon people, ever tried reading a book that isn't picture based??
One last thing, the-nut, you have no right rating anything. Go away and don't come back, or for god's sake at least stop posting reports. Some things are just not meant to be.
