Finally a C&C: Generals BR.... oh wait, I made one a couple of weeks ago.
About your report... It was OK. No background, red on white = nasty. Oversized pics = nasty. HUGE paragraphs = me not reading all of it. For the part that I did read I felt like you were a 10 year old (no offense). You didnt do a good job of explaining everything too; just look at my report.
Listen I know im going a little hard on you, I know its just your 3rd report (it took me about 5 or 6 reports until I finally got good) but you have to work hard and give yourself some rest between your BR's so your writing style doesnt get cramped up. If you want some tips look at my BR on C&C Generals (My new C&C Generals report is gonna be released in about a week).

1. it's supposed to have a background, it shows up fine in Word, but...It doesn't show up when I upload the rport. (But the color's not really hard to read...It's ptetty dark)
2. "Oversized pics"? Have you read, say, Zerg~Lings latests reports? Those have some freaking huge pics in them.
3. Huge pragraphs"...again, their actually kind of small, sompared tro, say, Zer~ings or CBs. EG:

I had something huge and long written up, but I'll spare you the grief and cut to the point:
Asides from your first huge collage, you have single pictures here and there, and some of your battles don't have pictures at all. Put borders also. Make it look refined. Wrapping your text around your pictures will also help.
Shorter paragraphs, empty lines between each of your paragraphs, and please don't retell what everything did. (I told my guy to go here, the enemy went here, and he went *boom*!)
Please take criticism well, and try to do better next time. |

Excellent report lowlymarine.. despite never having seen a game or a br before, i found myself really getting into this.. it sounds like a cool game and a great match.
7-8 from me.. white background sux but that was apparently unintentional. BTW, in other Westwood games i have seen as soon as you look at a part of the map it is revealed for the rest of the match.. so finding his buildings shoulda been easy. Were some places still unscouted, or is it different to other C&C games? |

Yeah, like I saidm next report should have a background (even if it's just a flat color...almost anything's better than white).
You guys are mostly right; poor organization in the pics (but all I have is MSPaint, can't afford PSP or Photoshop, ain't got a job yet, I'm still in high school. Not to mention I just bought a new graphics card. :P) and a rather...bland writing style.

| I never really like generals, Black Lotus ruined the game totally. There is no way to kill it without playing cat and mouse for 30 mins, I guess that's why I got sick of it, and it's oh so easy to win. I got 28-0 on my first name, and beat some high ranked players with like 500-40, Generals was a bit of a flop as far as competition is concerned. |

Common error: First of all you used Word. Dont do that please.
Second, Word (or possibly yourself) placed the bgcolor tag in BODY. It belongs in the TABLE that wraps you br. Check other br's source codes and you'll see. |

On the serious side I think it's great someone made a C&C report because it's just such a great game. Although the graphics were sorta on the lame side, this is your first report so I understand.

Oh and yes, there are other programs you can use. Dreamweaver is very good, but expensive. But there are other *cough* ways of getting it. If you cant find dreamweaver go for Microsoft frontpage or WebExpert.
